Family Arrives in Chandigarh – Mandeep on Edge
The Bajwa family finally reaches
Chandigarh, but tension is thick in the air. Harman asks Mandeep to hand over
Rajeev’s address to Vicky. Visibly nervous, she gets out of the car to avoid
answering. Harman hands her a bag, telling her to find the address quickly.
Everyone gathers around, but Mandeep is clearly rattled.
Beeji grows suspicious and demands answers. “What are you hiding?” she asks. In her mind, Mandeep imagines herself breaking down in tears, confessing that she never left Pari with Rajeev. In the imagined scene, she shouts, “I dropped her at the bus stop… I was afraid you would give her a larger share of the property!” Vicky accuses her of betrayal, and Gurpreet slaps her. But just then, Mandeep snaps back to reality—it was all a dream. She quietly tells herself, “I can’t let them find out the truth.”
Rajeev Battles Guilt
and Longing in the Market
Elsewhere in the city, Rajeev searches frantically in the market, haunted by his memories of Pari. He asks an elderly woman if she saw the girl who helped her. “She left after helping me,” the woman replies. Rajeev runs in circles, desperate to find her. “I think I’m going crazy,” he mutters.
Monty arrives and finds Rajeev visibly shaken. Rajeev confesses, “I keep seeing Pari everywhere. I know it’s impossible, but I feel like one day she’ll appear in front of me and ask why I never came to pick her up.”

Monty tries to calm him down, reminding him that Pari is unlikely to come to Chandigarh alone. “Her family would never allow it,” he insists. “Relax, it’s just your mind playing tricks.” Still unsettled, Rajeev nods and watches Monty leave to play a cricket match.
Tea Break at the
Dhaba – Mandeep’s Fear Lingers
Back on the road, the family
stops at a roadside dhaba for tea and snacks. Mandeep’s anxiety continues to
build. Gurpreet notices her silence and asks what’s wrong. “I don’t feel well,”
Mandeep says quietly. Harman brushes it off, insisting she’s just tired. But
when Mandeep excuses herself to go to the washroom, Simi follows her, sensing
something is off.
Mandeep, alone in the washroom, tries to gather her thoughts. “I must stay calm,” she thinks. “If they find out the truth, everything will fall apart.”
Neeti Plots Revenge
Against the Taxi Driver
In another part of the city,
Neeti spots the taxi driver who had previously tried to molest Pari. Without
revealing her identity, she gets into his cab, her mind burning with revenge.
“I’ll make sure you pay for what you did,” she thinks.
The driver casually asks if she’s
new to the city. Neeti, keeping her composure, nods and then pretends to take a
call. She steps out and immediately calls Pari. “Has your voice recovered?” she
asks. Pari responds faintly, “Not yet, but I’ve reached home.”
Neeti ends the call and then
dials Rajeev. “Can you help me beat someone up?” she asks bluntly. Rajeev is
surprised. “What? Who?” Neeti replies, “A man molested my friend—I want to
teach him a lesson.” Rajeev agrees to join her and waits for her call.
Neeti returns to the cab, determined to trap the driver. Meanwhile, the driver secretly plans to hurt her.
Rajeev and Pari Near a Life-Changing Moment
At the apartment building, Pari
arrives but discovers the elevator is out of order. “Please let the lift work
before Neeti gets here,” she whispers. She begins looking for the apartment
keys.
At the same time, Rajeev arrives at the same building, unaware of how close he is to Pari. As she fumbles for her keys, Rajeev steps forward to help her—his hand almost reaches her shoulder.
Will this be the moment they
finally come face to face? Or will fate keep them apart again?
