Jalang'o Expelled From ODM Party Walls

Jalang’o, an ODM MP, has been ousted from the party's communications team. He asserts that his dismissal was unjust and expresses bewilderment over the reasons behind his removal. Furthermore, he vehemently denies any sense of treachery, emphasizing that he has not betrayed anyone.

Jalang’o is among nine ODM MPs who have rebelled against the party, openly collaborating with President William Ruto. The other members of this group include Gideon Ochanda, Caroli Omondi, Elisha Odhiambo, Mark Nyamita, Paul Abuor, and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda.

During a recent meeting with Ruto, the collective reaffirmed their loyalty to the Kenya Kwanza government, pledging to continue their collaboration with him. Jalang’o took to Twitter to reassert his support for Ruto, underscoring the sincerity of their commitment.

On July 5, the ODM Management Committee convened and resolved to initiate the formal process for expelling the rebellious MPs from the party. The meeting also determined that the process would commence at the grassroots level, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the ODM party Constitution.
