Kulwant suggests that Amrita and Jitto join her to donate clothes to the needy. Jitto appears in tears, and Kulwant teases her about selling these clothes for money. Jitto returns indoors, and Bitu asks her what happened.
She explains how Kulwant questioned her about bringing nothing from her parent's house and Bitu not earning. Bitu is upset about the way his mother treated Jitto and goes outside.
Bitu inquires about what happened and wipes Jitto's tears. She shares how Kulwant accused her of not bringing anything from her parent's house and questioned Bitu's earnings.
He becomes upset about his mother's actions and goes outside. He tells Jitto to stop and hands money to the people to donate in her name. Kulwant is taken aback as Bitu donates money and the people start chanting Jitto's name.
In another scene, Harleen notices Param's band-aid on his finger and questions Meher about it. Dolly also asks about it, and Meher tries to explain that she got blood tests done for Param because Sarab was concerned about his overall health. Harleen and Dolly are upset that Meher didn't inform them beforehand.
Kulwant is looking for her phone but realizes Bitu has given it away to someone. When she calls her own number, a man answers and refuses to return the phone.
Bitu reveals that he gave away Kulwant's phone because he empathized with Jitto, who had been hurt by Kulwant's comments. Kulwant is unhappy but doesn't take any action against Bitu.
In the following scene, Param asks Meher to fly kites with him, but Meher advises him to try on his own first. Harleen arrives, notices the band-aid on Param's finger, and questions Meher about the blood test. Meher tries to justify it, but Harleen is not pleased. Meher leaves, and Harleen invites everyone to join Param in flying kites.
Param's attempt at flying a kite ends with it crashing to the ground, and Meher helps him apply medicine to a cut on his hand.
Sarab calls Meher to discuss the reports, and she informs him about Param's urine color, leading Sarab to order blood tests. While they talk on the phone, Harleen and her family express their desire to fly kites with Param.
As Param is about to fly another kite, he cuts his hand on the kite string. Meher tends to him, and Sarab calls to check on the test results, which she tells him are clear. Param is relieved, and Harleen hugs him.
Meher reassures Param, and Sarab leaves a voice message for Meher, saying he's on his way to collect the reports. Harleen's family encourages Param to continue flying kites.
Sarab arrives at the doctor's clinic to pick up the reports, but when the doctor reveals the shocking news of a tumor in Param's liver.
Sarab is left in disbelief. The doctor advises finding a liver donor, and Sarab agrees to donate his own liver. The doctor reassures Sarab and arranges for further tests.
In the hospital, Meher calls Sarab, and they share a conversation about the reports. Sarab reassures her and mentions that he will be there soon. He hangs up the call and cries. Back at the Lohri celebration, Param continues to fly kites. Sarab receives a video from Meher and watches it with tears in his eyes.
Meanwhile, Param accidentally cuts the kite string with the kite falling to the ground. Meher assures him and tries to cheer him up. Sarab is devastated by the doctor's revelation about Param's condition, and the doctor explains the need for a liver transplant.
Later, Meher records a video for Sarab, showing a cheerful Param flying a kite and expressing love for his father. Sarab watches the video and cries, overwhelmed by the situation.
In the final scenes, Bitu tries to make amends for his family's mistakes and orders a pizza for everyone. The tensions between family members continue to simmer.
Harleen finds out about Param's blood test and questions Meher. Sarab returns home with gifts for Param, who is excited about flying kites. However, when Meher examines the test reports, she is shocked by the results.
