Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update Summary for Tuesday17 Oct 2023

Choti Sarrdaarni Written Tuesday Oct 16 2023

Harleen reminisces about Param's words and feels hurt. She overhears Kulwant talking to Dolly, suggesting that Meher should handle the turban-tying ceremony due to its importance. Dolly speculates that someone might have informed Param about it.

Param tearfully expresses to Meher that she no longer loves him. Sarab joins them. Meher explains, "I tied Yuvi's turban to make a super sardar, and you need to be a good boy to become one too.

Harleen was initially going to tie your turban, but you made a mistake, so you have to say sorry." Param agrees and hugs her.

Param approaches Harleen, attempting to talk to her, but she instructs him to leave. Meher discreetly signals Param to try talking again.

Param apologizes to Harleen and hugs her, pleading, "Please come with me and tie my turban." Harleen recalls Dolly's comments and inquires, "Who taught you all this?" Param replies, "Meher mom." Harleen suspects that Meher intends to insult her.

Harleen proceeds to tie Param's turban, and everyone smiles. She kisses him, and Param prostrates himself. Sarab wipes away his tears, and Param eagerly mentions, "Now it's time for the baby's first Lohri." Everyone congratulates Sarab and Param.

Param goes around asking everyone for Lohri. Harleen's mother-in-law clarifies, "We don't ask for Lohri." Ginny inquires, "Who taught you that?" Param responds, "Meher mama."

Yuvi misbehaves, demanding Lohri from everyone, prompting Jagga to apologize. Bitu comments that this behavior is expected when parents don't enforce boundaries, and Jagga tells him to be quiet.

The atmosphere is filled with dancing and celebration during Lohri. Sarab shares his appreciation for Meher, who has given him another beautiful baby.

He also thanks Harleen for bringing Meher and Sarab together. While dancing, Meher notices Jagga appearing upset, and Bitu and Jagga exchanging meaningful glances.

Sarab expresses his gratitude to Meher and gives her a gift—an anklet. He explains it's like an alarm for when they're watching their favorite cartoon show, and Meher suddenly surprises them by twisting their ears.

Sarab kneels down to put the anklet on Meher, and the song "Dholna" plays while Meher smiles. Ginny suggests it's Meher's turn to give Sarab a gift. Dolly agrees and says, "Let's see what you can give him that he doesn't already have."

Meher responds, "There's one thing that's priceless—a promise. I promise you, I will always be with you, in health and in sickness. For one of your smiles, I will fight the whole world. I promise your love and your trust will be more than my life to me."

Sarab then asks for another promise—her support, not just in this life but for all their lives. He extends his hand, saying, "Promise me, Meher." Meher is taken aback but holds his hand.

The celebration continues with Rana and Bitu dancing and pulling Sarab onto the dance floor. Meher joins in the dancing as well. The men and women partake in a friendly dance-off. Param also joins the men's team, and everyone dances together.

Afterward, Meher leaves the festivities for a moment. Param is in the restroom and asks her to leave, saying, "Let's go, Meher mama." Meher reminds him to wash his hands, and Param complies.

She mentions that he forgot to flush the toilet, and Param apologizes, saying that he will do it himself from tomorrow. As she exits, Meher notices blood in the toilet and is shocked.
