Meher expresses her admiration, saying, "I am impressed." Sarab acknowledges her concern and replies that he no longer cares for himself because a woman cares for him.
Meanwhile, Jitto is in tears, upset about her hair. Bitu, Amrita, and Yuvi discuss the incident, with Bitu suspecting that Yuvi did it due to not being taken to the movies.
Amrita, however, defends Yuvi, saying that he genuinely cares for Jitto. Bitu then suggests that Jitto may have done it herself, which doesn't sit well with Amrita. Kulwant listens and acknowledges the strategy of "divide and rule."
Later, they come upstairs and discuss architectural plans. Harleen loses her temper and nearly slips, but Sarab catches her. In the process, he falls and is left hanging from a pipe.
Both Meher and Harleen rush to help him, offering their dupattas and pulling him to safety. They all share a heartfelt moment of relief and gratitude.
In another scene, Rovi discovers Meher's pregnancy file in Harleen's closet and becomes curious about why it's there. He notices that Meher has been pregnant for three months, which doesn't align with the timeline of their recent wedding.
Sarab administers painkillers to Meher and Harleen, and Dolly questions how they got injured. Sarab reveals that they saved him.
Param inquires about Meher's injuries, and Sarab, Meher, and Harleen downplay their injuries and attribute them to a lesson about counting spices.
Meher attempts to braid her hair, and Sarab offers to help. He suggests making a promise to always be there for each other, symbolizing their strong bond.
Sarab, with a hint of realization, says, "It pained you to save me." Meher nods and replies, "Life has taught me the fear of losing someone once again." Sarab, speaking about his own feelings, admits, "I was scared too, not of death, but of being separated from everyone, especially you. The moment I held your dupatta, I knew everything would be alright."
Later, Meher approaches Harleen with concern and offers her a glass of milk. Harleen, while holding two envelopes, presents Meher with a choice.
She tells Meher, "Here are your air tickets. You can go wherever you desire. I will cover all the expenses. Leave this house or terminate this 'sin.'
Make your decision right now." Meher accepts both envelopes, looks at the time, and calmly responds, "I still have two hours to decide. I'll inform you within that time. Please, drink the milk." Meher then leaves the room.
