Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update for Monday Oct 2 2023
Rana asks Yuvi for some calculations. Yuvi confidently responds that he can spend as much money as he wants. He then requests money from his grandmother, Kulwant, for a school party. Kulwant gives him 500 rupees, but Yuvi insists he needs 1000 rupees.
Kulwant agrees and hands him the additional amount. Rana comments on how Yuvi receives money so easily, to which Kulwant explains that he is the grandson of the influential Sarpanj Kulwant Kaur, whereas Rana's background was different as the son of a poor widow.
Meher and Sarab accompany Param to school. Meher notices Yuvi giving his bag to some classmates and questions him about it. Yuvi brushes it off as a joke. However, Harleen urgently calls Sarab and instructs him to return home immediately. Sarab expresses concern to Meher about Harleen's tone, but Meher reassures him that things will settle once they return home.
When they arrive, Harleen slaps Meher twice. Sarab intervenes to stop her. Harleen accuses Meher of betraying their trust and claims that she is pregnant with someone else's child. Both Meher and Sarab are shocked by this revelation. Meher expresses her disgust at Harleen's actions, feeling deceived and hurt. Harleen, in her anger, breaks some objects and cries.
Harleen then admits to Sarab that she made a mistake by arranging his marriage to Meher, thinking she would bring happiness into his life but instead brought sin. She shows him a report indicating that Meher is three months pregnant, which contradicts the fact that their wedding took place only two months ago.
Sarab clarifies that Meher didn't lie; she informed him from the beginning that the child was not his. Harleen questions the purpose of the drama and what they will tell everyone. Sarab pleads with her not to reveal this to anyone else. Harleen says she cannot pretend to be godly and emphasizes that the child will never truly be his. Meher is in tears.
As Harleen prepares to leave, Sarab holds her hand and asserts that the child is equally his, and he is committed to providing fatherly love. He reminds her that he has already given the child his name. Harleen leaves, and Meher continues to cry.
Tears stream down Meher's face as she gazes at the broken objects scattered around. She begins to collect the shattered pieces, but in the process, she injures her hand.
Sarab notices and insists, "Show me, it's bleeding." Meher laments, "I've ruined everything, I broke your family." Sarab takes care of her wound and reassures her, "You haven't done anything wrong. This is your family too.
As long as you're with me, nothing can go wrong. Okay?" Meher continues to cry, and Sarab consoles her, "You just have to be with me. I will never leave you. Harleen is just upset; that doesn't mean we are in the wrong."
