Sarab asserts, "I already knew." Meher inquires, "How so?" He explains, "I observed you refraining from drinking water or eating fruits at the hospital."
Sarab presents a prepared juice, urging, "Take this." Meher questions, "How will I receive it?" Sarab insists, "It's the power of true love."
As Meher extends her hand, Param delivers the juice, affirming, "Papa said it should be on time." Sarab prompts, "Now, drink it."
Harleen announces, "Dinner is served. Husbands will feed their wives, and vice versa." Robbie queries, "What about the husbands?" Harleen clarifies, "Wives will also feed their husbands."
Manav interjects, "I need to make an urgent call." Meher halts Manav, reminding him, "Aditi was fasting. It's Karwa Chauth." Manav asserts, "I have more pressing matters to discuss." Meher counters, "So do I. You escorted Sarab to the hospital.
You were there before the attack. You were the one in the hoodie." He emotionally admits, "In times of distress, people make wrong choices. Thankfully, I didn't." Meher advises, "You should be with Aditi. Don't jeopardize your happiness."
Manav contends, "I'm not ruining anyone's happiness. I've discovered the greatest joy of my life."
Meher urges him to forget about it, but he insists, "God doesn't want me to. I'm talking about Karan." Meher reacts in shock, but Manav asserts, "Karan is my blood, my son." Meher refutes, "Karan is mine and Sarab's child."
In another setting, Param questions Kulwant's tears, and she responds, "I'll never meet you again." Param inquires further, and Kulwant shares her sense of alienation within the family.
Meanwhile, Meher reiterates to Manav, "Karan is mine and Sarab's child." Manav accuses her of lying and insists, "Karan is our child." Meher denies the claim, but Manav persists, recounting their initial connection with Karan and his unique bond with the child.
He pleads with Meher not to deny him his child, invoking their previous agreement. Meher, overwhelmed, denies his request, prompting Manav to plead, citing the sacrifices he made.
Meher implores him to consider Aditi and his mother, but Manav is resolute, expressing his determination to claim Karan as his own.
Kulwant and Meher observe from a distance as Vikram confronts Sarab, seeking resolution through a video call.
Meher returns to the hall. Manav remarks, "Mr. Gill will likely video call soon. Focus the camera on me." Sarab phones Meher, questioning, "Why did Vikram request a video call?"
Meanwhile, Manav grabs the thaal and settles into a chair. He approaches Aditi, apologizing, "I'm truly sorry. Sometimes, I get caught up. Did you think I wouldn't come, especially when you're fasting? Here's your favorite dish."
Aditi is taken aback but pleased. Seema inquires, "Where are you taking her for dinner?" Sarab responds, "I'll take my wife to her favorite restaurant."
Surprised, Sarab adds, "Are you serious? Do you think I'm putting on an act? What do you think, Meher? Can't I be a good husband and father? Maybe one day."
Meher remains silent as Aditi beams with joy. Sarab questions, "Why are you teasing her?" Manav counters, "She's teasing me. Confirm, Meher ji." Meher asserts, "He's just joking." Sarab suggests they all enjoy themselves.
Turning to Meher, Manav remarks, "I did quite the performance, didn't I? They're so happy. Isn't this what you wanted? For me to be a good husband? I'll do whatever you ask. I won't interfere between you and Sarab. I won't cause Aditi any pain, so Sarab remains content.
Meher insists, "Karan is ours, Sarab's and mine. I'll say it a hundred times." Manav persists, "I want my Karan." Meher challenges, "Or what?" Aditi calls for Vicky, prompting Manav to warn, "I'll end this facade of being nice to Aditi. Otherwise, I'll celebrate Diwali with Karan."
Meher enters and embraces Karan, tearfully affirming, "No one can take my Karan." She questions the source of the toys, and Param reveals, "Vikram uncle brought them." Meher pops the balloons, weeping, "He's our child, Sarab's and mine. He belongs to me."
Kulwant interjects, advising, "I told you to terminate this pregnancy. Give the child to Vikram and move on. Inform Sarab he's lost." Meher asserts, "You can dwell in your twisted thoughts."
Kulwant insists, "Your decision was wrong." Meher retorts, "My decision was right. No one can take my Karan from me."
Kulwant predicts, "Harleen will oust him first. She didn't accept him when you went to Serbia." As Param arrives, Kulwant exits.
