Mannat recalls and says that for her, elders’ decisions matter. Nirvair says their relation will go deep and tells her to ask him for help if needed. Kulwant announces that all the wedding functions will be grand and tells everyone to make arrangements.
A servant brings a wedding invitation from Gill Mansion. Kulwant sees the wedding card for Zoravar and Scarlet with sweets and Dolly’s message. She burns the card. Mannat looks shocked. Kulwant tells everyone to get back to work on Mannat’s wedding. Everyone leaves. Mannat puts her hand in the fire and pulls out the card. She looks at Zoravar’s name and says she always wishes to see him happy.
She goes out shopping and spots Zoravar. Zoravar tells her he wants to give the answer to her riddle. She reminds him that his marriage is fixed. He says hers is too. She asks if he is happy, and he says yes. She sees his burnt leg and rushes to him. He notices her burnt hands and asks what happened. Rane calls Mannat and asks if shopping is done, then takes her away. Zoravar decides to go to her house to meet her.
At home, Rane tells Kulwant that the security is very tight. Kulwant says she still doesn’t trust Dolly, calling her a big dacoit. Zoravar sneaks into Mannat’s house, covers himself with a shawl, and carries a kadai pretending to be a cook. A flower falls on him during decoration. Bittu stops him and questions him, but Karan calls Bittu away.
Mannat pulls Zoravar aside. They share an eyelock. Zoravar gently touches her face with a rose. The song “Phirse Khuda” plays. She blows petals on him and asks what he’s doing. He says he has come to answer the riddle: “What’s mine but not with me.” She tells him he still doesn’t get it and hears Kulwant calling her.
Zoravar leaves, and his handkerchief falls. Kulwant comes and tells Mannat to get ready since they’ve booked a big hotel in Amritsar. She mentions Nirvair is also coming. Zoravar finds Mannat’s bracelet stuck to his shirt and smiles. Mannat takes his handkerchief.
Dolly arrives at the same hotel with Scarlet and Zoravar. The song “Yaar Milade” plays. Kulwant arrives with Mannat and Nirvair. Zoravar and Mannat exchange glances.
Zoravar gets upset seeing Nirvair holding Mannat’s hand. Kulwant tells the couple to go ahead while she handles things. Dolly tells Scarlet and Zoravar to sit and complains about a fly, taunting Kulwant indirectly. Kulwant and Dolly fight over the hotel booking.
The manager tells them the hotel can accommodate two weddings. Both agree but continue taunting each other. Dolly insults Kulwant, calling her a goon. Kulwant vows to ruin Zoravar’s engagement.
Dolly says she wants to see the goon’s face. Mannat walks away, and Zoravar makes an excuse to follow her. They meet, cry silently, and a saint recites poetry about love.
Mannat dresses for the engagement. Dolly compliments Zoravar. Kulwant praises Mannat. Mannat gets teary. Kulwant tells her to smile and says this engagement should make everyone believe she’s happy. Mannat says she can’t go through with the marriage.
Kulwant says she’s her life and the soul of this house. She claims she knows what’s best for her kids and values her family’s honor above everything. Bittu remembers Kulwant murdering Meher’s boyfriend. Kulwant says Mannat has to give what she’s asked for—marrying Nirvair. Bittu gets worried thinking about Kulwant’s past.
Kulwant insists Mannat marry for her mother and family’s pride. She says she did her duty as a grandmother and now it’s Mannat’s turn to fulfill her duty as a granddaughter. She asks everyone to prepare for the engagement. Mannat cries holding Zoravar’s handkerchief and wishes him happiness.
Meanwhile, Rane and Ginny hit a British couple’s car. They argue. Ginny slips a pistol into the lady’s purse and calls the police, pretending they’re goons. It turns out the couple is Scarlet’s parents. Scarlet gets a call about them being at the police station.
Dolly fumes and assumes Kulwant is behind it. Ginny and Rane return home, wondering why no one from Nirvair’s side has come. Kulwant tries calling them, but no one answers. Mannat feels relieved. Just then, they hear the band. Dolly arrives with a baraat and says she scared Nirvair’s family away. Mannat thinks Zoravar doesn’t care about her feelings.
At the police station, Zoravar and Scarlet ask the inspector to release Scarlet’s parents. He refuses. Zoravar loses his temper. The inspector threatens jail time. Kiara suggests calling the commissioner.
At home, Dolly taunts Kulwant, saying now no one will marry Mannat. Just then, Nirvair arrives and apologizes for the delay. He says they were threatened but couldn’t back out after everything Kulwant has done for them. He promises the marriage will happen. Kulwant praises Nirvair for not backing down.
