Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update for Mondday, 20 April 2025
Karan goes to Jeeto and sincerely apologizes. Jeeto forgives him. Bittu also apologizes to Karan, but Karan says there's no need—his slap felt like a blessing. Bittu regrets raising his hand and gently places a hot bag on Karan’s face.
Seher asks Rajveer if he has noticed how Mannat has united the family. She says only Mannat thinks of everyone’s happiness and peace, and she is the perfect daughter of the house. Rajveer agrees. Seher wonders what step to take next.
Meanwhile, Zoravar returns to his room. Scarlet tries to cheer him up by taking out his night suit, but Zoravar stops her and tells her not to cross limits—even though they are close. He thinks to himself that he has hidden some things from the world and wants them to remain hidden.
Seher tells Jeeto that she is leaving for the US and requests her to accept Mannat as her daughter. Jeeto gets angry and refuses. She tells Seher that just like she’s doing what she thinks is right, she will do what she believes is right.
Mannat hugs Seher and cries. Seher says she is proud of Mannat for how she has handled everything with love. She says daughters are made to live in everyone’s hearts, and Mannat is that kind of daughter. She tells everyone that this house needs a daughter and says only Mannat has held the family together the way she has. Everyone smiles.
Bittu comes into the hall carrying a pillow. Seher notices and gently takes it from him. She tells him she knows he’s upset and hasn’t eaten. She asks him to sit and feeds him. She reminds him that Mannat grew up without a family but still understands relationships. She says it’s a blessing that Mannat always puts the family first.
Kulwant agrees with Seher and admits her mistake in sending Harnoor and Mannat away years ago. She says she now wants to make things right by bringing Mannat home. She asks Bittu if he wants to correct his mistake too. Bittu remembers Meher’s words. Kulwant says Mannat needs him now more than ever—because he is her father.
Seher says Mannat made the halwa they’re eating and compares her sweetness to it. She says they shouldn't let bitterness affect Mannat. Bittu agrees. Seher tells him Jeeto needs his support too, and not to leave her side. Bittu nods and goes to his room. Seher smiles and says soon even he’ll say, “Nani, wonderful ji wonderful!” Kulwant says they will go to the Gurdwara with Mannat.
The next day, Kulwant, Seher, and Mannat visit the Gurdwara. Seher tells Mannat she wants to gift her something. She takes out a *chunari* and says it belonged to her mother, Meher. Mannat becomes emotional. Seher also gives her a bangle and says she deserves it.
Mannat tells Kulwant that she was sad about never meeting her Meher bua, but today Seher made her feel as though she has. She calls it the best gift of her life. Kulwant helps her wear the chunari, and Seher helps her put on the bangle.
Seher tells Mannat that the house is now her responsibility. She must protect it and fight for it like a true Sardarni. She reminds her to follow the teachings of their Gurus and that the family will always support her. She tells her that one day, Mannat will get married and become the choti sardarni of the house.
Just then, Zoravar and Kiara arrive. Seher adds that after marriage, Mannat will handle two families and will fulfill every responsibility because she has the strength and courage of a tigress. Mannat hugs Seher and imagines Meher smiling from the sky. She becomes emotional.
Seher says just like her mother, she too has carried family responsibilities, and now Mannat must do the same—ensuring no one in the family feels lonely or sad. She asks Mannat if she will take care of the family. Mannat smiles and nods.
Kulwant and Seher go to perform *seva*. Kiara tells Zoravar they should also do *seva* before the factory opening. Zoravar passes by Mannat but doesn’t see her as she turns away.
Kiara and Zoravar begin cooking food in the Gurdwara, while Mannat cooks with Kulwant nearby. Zoravar notices the gas is low. Mannat drinks water and spots an elderly man serving food. She leaves her glass and goes to help him. Zoravar comes and drinks from the same glass she left behind. Kiara calls him away.
Later, Mannat, Seher, and Kulwant sit in the Gurdwara. Mannat sits next to Zoravar without realizing. She prays to Baba ji to give her the strength to fulfill the responsibilities given to her. Zoravar also prays for the success of the factory and to fulfill his mother’s dream.
Seher prays with certainty that Mannat will manage the house just like she and Meher did. Mannat and Zoravar bow before Baba ji at the same time and rise. Kulwant tells them it’s time to go to the airport. Kiara tells Zoravar to come as well. They all walk out.
Before leaving, Seher gives Bittu a photo frame and tells him that when he feels his family is complete, he should click a photo and put it inside. She says she hopes his family picture will be complete before she returns.
Kulwant asks what it is. Bittu replies, it’s a gift. Kulwant says, "You’re giving us gifts while leaving?" Rajveer says they don’t want anyone to miss them. Kulwant says they’ll wait for their return.
Seher gifts a brooch to Kulwant. She praises it and promises to wear it proudly. Seher tells her MLA badge will look good with it. She gives Jeeto a flowerpot. Jeeto says it will bloom with many flowers by the time they return. Prince gives Gullu a toy car so he won’t miss him.
Karan and Rane jokingly ask where their gifts are. Raj says they didn’t bring anything for them. Seher teases that they forgot. Raj then says that until he’s in the US, Karan and Rane should handle his company. Seher gifts an iPad to Ginny and asks her to video call every day and keep her updated.
Rajveer says everyone has accepted him and asks them to bless their journey and that they succeed in their purpose and return soon. Kulwant becomes emotional. Mannat gets an idea and leaves.
Seher tells everyone to send their wish lists for when she returns. Rane jokes that they’ll expect gifts too. Just then, Gullu arrives, happily playing the *dhol*. Seher, Raj, and the others smile.
