The Inspector releases Scarlet’s parents. Kiara calls Dolly and informs her that everything is set. Dolly tells Kulwant that she will get Zoravar married the next day. Kulwant replies, “Wonderful,” and says she will also do the same. She compliments Mannat and Nirvair and asks them to exchange rings. Bittu recalls Kulwant making Meher do the same. Memories flash before his eyes as he sees Mannat sad.
Mannat imagines Zoravar there. At the same time, Zoravar imagines Mannat. Mannat places the ring on Nirvair’s finger. The song Teri Deewani plays. Zoravar puts the ring on Scarlet’s finger and sits down on the floor. Mannat also sits, stunned. A saint recites poetry.
Mannat regains consciousness. Nirvair asks if she is okay. Kulwant says she’s just tired. Nirvair says he is around and that his father is handling things at home. He adds that they don’t question elders. He asks if Mannat isn’t happy with the marriage.
Kulwant says Mannat is very happy and tells him to go home and rest. Once he leaves, she threatens Mannat, saying she must appear happy and that nothing like this should happen again. She insists the marriage will happen as she wants. Bittu recalls how Kulwant had killed Manav.
Meanwhile, Dolly tells Scarlet’s parents to forget the past. She expresses her desire to make Scarlet her daughter-in-law. They all go to the Gurdwara. Mannat also arrives and meets the saint. She says this is her destiny. The saint tells her that whoever belongs to her will find a way to reach her.
Kulwant enters the Gurdwara with Mannat and the family. Dolly also arrives with Scarlet and her parents. Kulwant and Dolly taunt each other. Dolly says she doesn’t want to see Kulwant’s face. Kulwant replies that tomorrow is Mannat’s wedding and hopes Dolly’s eyes burn seeing the decorations. Dolly gets angry. Zoravar watches Nirvair with Mannat and feels upset.
Mannat sits to get mehendi applied on her hands. Kulwant says it will turn out beautifully. Brar comes and apologizes for being late. Kulwant says it’s okay and says it’s the mehendi function for their children. Mannat looks at her hand and notices the letter “Z.” She asks the designer why she wrote “Z.” The designer says it’s “N.” Mannat wonders what game God is playing.
Everyone dances. Zoravar looks on from afar. Dolly joins the dancing and urges Zoravar not to step back and not to let her be humiliated. Brar asks Kulwant if Mannat seems unhappy. Kulwant insists that she is happy and says it’s just that she will be separating from the family.
Kulwant walks up to Mannat and tells her not to let her down. She says Mannat is her pride and must reflect the spark that honors the family name. She tells the DJ to play music.
Mannat dances, silently expressing her pain. Zoravar also dances, hiding his sorrow. They both spin in dance. Mannat runs out, and Zoravar follows in his imagination. Rain pours. Both twirl under the rain and move toward each other. They smile and share a hug.
Everyone watches, shocked. But it’s only their imagination. Mannat dances alone, while Zoravar imagines her. Bittu notices her feet are bleeding and comes out with an umbrella. He tells her her feet are injured and asks her to come inside. Mannat says the pain is not from her feet but from her heart.
The mehendi designer gives the leftover mehendi to Kulwant. Kulwant realizes that the mehendi was swapped at the Gurdwara and that it has Zoravar’s name in it. Mannat continues to dance. Kulwant throws the mehendi bowl and rushes to Mannat. She rubs the mehendi off her hand.
Barar asks if everything is alright. Kulwant lies and says Mannat is allergic to mehendi. She takes her inside. Karan calls everyone to eat and says Nani will handle things.
Mannat asks Kulwant what happened. Kulwant tells her that the mehendi has Zoravar’s name in it and that it shouldn’t have happened. Mannat looks surprised. Kulwant keeps rubbing her hand. Mannat says there’s no point now, the color is already on her hands.
Kulwant says she is Kulwant Kaur, and whatever she says, happens. She insists Mannat will marry Nirvair and walks away.
