Kamene Goro Washes Omena with Soap and Disinfectant
Media Personality and former Kiss Fm presenter, Kamene Goro has caused an online debate following a video of hers washing omena with disinfectant and soap emerged.
In a video which was shared on her YouTube channel, Kamene wanted to cook omena with her husband Dj Bonez and Co-host Oga Obinna. Goro is seen pouring hot water in a basin, adds soap and disinfectant before before dipping omena inside.
Her method of cooking leaves her husband Dj Bonez and Oga Obinna mouths shut and eyes popped in great shock. On her defense, Goro assures them that she has done that earlier and there have been no cases of food poisoning so the method is safe.
Goro continues to clean the soapy omena adding that she rinse them thoroughly and soak them for some minutes before cooking them.
Besides going viral, the video has sparked online reactions. Some people have praised her for being such a clean woman while others reprimands her for using soap and disinfectant on food.
