"Meher was Pregnant For Another Man When I Married Her," Sarab Reveals To Daar
Daar ji expresses his disappointment in Amrit, questioning why she harbors so much hatred towards Meher. He believes Meher only seeks love and blessings, but instead, Amrit has accused her unfairly. Meher tries to defend Amrit, but Daar ji insists that Amrit's actions have caused him shame.
Amrit, however, shifts the blame onto Daar ji, arguing that the situation arose due to his actions, not hers. She highlights Meher’s family background, mentioning that her mother is in jail, Meher herself was imprisoned, and her daughter was born in jail. She demands to know what crime Meher committed.
Sarab intervenes, stating that Meher was wrongfully accused of killing her own brother, and presents a verdict proving her innocence. He reveals that Meher was pregnant with their daughter when she was arrested. Amrit dismisses this, calling it a fabricated story.
Daar ji remains firm, stating that bad things often happen to good people and recalls past betrayals by their own family members. Amrit compares Meher to Lovely, accusing her of ruining their lives. Daar ji, in anger, nearly slaps Amrit, but Meher steps in to protect her. Sarab pleads with Daar ji not to scold Amrit as she is their mother. Despite this, Daar ji drags Amrit out of the room, shutting the door on her.
Meher prepares food, determined to make Daar ji eat despite his anger. She acknowledges that she and Sarab should have disclosed the truth earlier, and now their trust is shaken.
She decides they must also tell Daar ji about Karan. Sarab fears losing his family if they reveal the truth, but Meher insists it's necessary to prevent further misunderstandings.
Daar ji sits alone, looking at the verdict. Seher, Karan, and Param approach him, returning the money they received, expressing their decision not to keep it if it caused their mother to be scolded. Touched by their gesture, Daar ji asks who instructed them to return the money, and they clarify that it was their own decision.
Later, Sarab and Meher approach Daar ji to reveal the full truth. They explain that Meher was already pregnant with another man's child when Sarab married her, and Sarab knew this from the beginning.
Sarab emphasizes that just as Meher accepted Param as her son, he has accepted Karan as his own. However, Daar ji remains focused on the family's dignity and expresses his inability to accept the situation. He asks Meher and Sarab to leave.
Meher accepts Daar ji's decision, feeling relieved that they have finally told the truth. She believes they must also tell Tai ji. However, when Meher tries to approach Tai ji with food, Tai ji angrily rejects her, blaming her for the rift with Daar ji.
Tai ji recounts how Daar ji has always supported her, even against their own family, but now, because of Meher, he has distanced himself from her. She holds Meher responsible for all the pain she is experiencing.
