Kulwant Arrested
Kulwant stops the truck. Meher asks why she stopped and accuses Kulwant of liking to hit people with trucks, just like she hit her husband. She challenges Kulwant to drive over her. Kulwant exits the truck and questions Meher’s actions in front of her party supporters.
Meher confronts Kulwant, suggesting that her marriage and mehndi upset Kulwant. Meher demands to know why Kulwant wants to kill her husband and accuses her of being an enemy to her own daughter. Kulwant tries to explain, but Meher insists that Kulwant's hands are stained with her husband's blood.
Kulwant asks Meher to listen, and Meher retorts that Kulwant understands everything; she left the event and tried to erase evidence. Meher compares Kulwant's actions to a witch attacking her own daughter. Kulwant admits to making a mistake, pushing Meher in front of Jagga’s picture.
Kulwant explains that as a mother, she would do anything to protect her children, just as she was consumed by grief and revenge after seeing her son Jagga’s dead body. She claims that she was seeking justice for Jagga just as Meher was looking for Sarab’s assailant.
Meher counters that Jagga was her brother too, but Kulwant continues to emphasize her motherly instincts. Meher argues that a true mother knows her children and wouldn’t attack her daughter’s husband.
Meanwhile, the kids are dancing, and Seher asks about Meher. Sarab reassures her that Meher will return soon but notices that Meher didn’t take her phone. Harleen is concerned about Kulwant, but Sarab decides to wait a few more minutes before checking on them.
Kulwant admits her mistakes and apologizes, even slapping herself as a sign of remorse. She insists she’s changed and pleads for forgiveness, but Meher remains resolute, distinguishing between mistakes and sins.
Meher accuses Kulwant of stabbing Manav and reminds her that they gave her a second chance. Meher believes Kulwant is blinded by her prejudices, even after the court found Meher innocent.
Kulwant tries to justify her actions, claiming she did everything for Meher’s future. She begs Meher to forget the past and promises to apologize publicly to Sarab.
Meher, however, is determined to make Kulwant face the consequences of her actions. Kulwant threatens Meher with jail but also vows to protect her newfound peace. Kulwant becomes defensive, denying that any evidence exists against her.
The wedding event continues, with the kids coaxing Sarab to join in the dancing. Sarab notices the footage playing and both he and Meher are shocked by what they see.
As the wedding begins, Meher and Sarab make their entrance amidst music and dancing. Dolly and Harleen question Kulwant’s absence, but Kulwant arrives, greeting everyone with a smile. Meher and Sarab go through the wedding rituals, ignoring Kulwant’s presence.
The police arrive with handcuffs, shocking everyone. They announce Kulwant’s arrest for attacking her son-in-law, revealing they have CCTV footage as evidence.
Harleen is outraged, while Meher insists on letting the law take its course. The police take Kulwant away, despite the children’s pleas. Meher comforts Yuvi and Karan, explaining that adults must face the consequences of their actions.
