Kulwant Arrested
The police arrive with handcuffs, shocking everyone. They announce Kulwant’s arrest for attacking her son-in-law, revealing they have CCTV footage as evidence.
Harleen is outraged, while Meher insists on letting the law take its course. The police take Kulwant away, despite the children’s pleas. Meher comforts Yuvi and Karan, explaining that adults must face the consequences of their actions.
Bitu and Rani apologize to Kulwant, saying they have made a huge mistake. Kulwant expresses her frustration, stating that everything was going well and she was fully supporting her daughter.
However, her daughter pushed her to the forefront, and now Kulwant plans to attack where it will hurt the most—targeting her pride as a wife and mother. Kulwant vows to shatter her life, setting a new story in motion that will change everything.
A car arrives, and some men step out, followed by an old couple. Sarab and Meher return home, noticing the car. Dolly asks who arrived, and Harleen wonders the same, asking Sarab.
As Sarab touches the car, he reminisces about his childhood and rushes inside, recognizing the man as Daar ji. Sarab, shocked and emotional, greets Daar ji and Taai ji, asking when they arrived.
They jest about Sarab’s manner of questioning, saying it reminds them of his father. Sarab touches Daar ji's feet, introduces Meher and the kids, and expresses his happiness at seeing them after 25 years, hoping they will stay. Daar ji, however, states his stay depends on his feelings about the place.
Meher assures Daar ji he will find no shortcomings. He sternly warns her not to interrupt him, inquiring about her village and parents. Sarab introduces his children to their grandparents, but they are scared. Daar ji comments on their upbringing and asks to be shown his room. Harleen assists with the room arrangements.
Dolly is surprised to see Amrit Parjai, remarking on Daar ji’s return after a long time, mentioning he will also undergo a knee transplant. Meher offers to help with traditional remedies, but Taai ji insists Daar ji dislikes such methods.
Sarab briefs the staff to be respectful and quiet around Daar ji, who dislikes noise and uses his stick for discipline. Taai ji scolds Meher for her attire, urging her to adhere to their traditions. Sarab apologizes to Meher for the criticism. They discuss Daar ji’s departure 25 years ago due to familial conflicts and his strict principles.
The kids, intimidated by Daar ji, plan to break his stick, believing it holds his powers. Seher sneaks into his room to take it but gets caught, startling Daar ji.
Meher and Sarab discuss the delicate situation involving Aditi’s past, agreeing to keep certain truths hidden for peace. Taai ji criticizes the cooking, insisting on traditional methods and family-made meals, prompting Meher to re-cook hurriedly.
Despite the effort, Daar ji finds a hair in the food and decides to leave, citing the incident as a character judgment. Sarab and Meher plead with him to stay, emphasizing the importance of his presence and promising to rectify mistakes. Eventually, Daar ji agrees to stay on two conditions: Meher won’t cook for him, and any further mistakes will lead to his departure.
Later, as Daar ji tries the new meal, he provides some critical feedback but appreciates the effort. The kids continue their mischievous plans, and the family shares a meal, discussing past and present relationships with affection and humor. Meher resolves to win Daar ji’s approval and integrate fully into the family.
