Choti Sarrdarni Written Update for Wednesday May 8, 2024

Everyone dances and celebrates. Sarab declares, "This year’s Lohri is very special for all of us. This is my son Karan’s first Lohri." Everyone applauds as Sarab lifts Karan and expresses gratitude for having the whole family together. He announces, "So tonight is for my son Karan." Amrita appears worried, catching Meher's attention.

Meher approaches her and says, "I know there is something. Mummy ji has told you something. What is it? Tell me? What is it?" Kulwant reveals her plan to separate Meher and Amrita. She tells Meher to go with Sarab while she takes their photo. Param urges his father to dance.

Kulwant instructs Amrita to stand with Jagga. Meher takes Amrita aside to talk. Yuvi asks Kulwant to dance with him. Meher discusses with Amrita, who expresses concern that opening her coaching center would disrupt the peace of the house.

She mentions Kulwant's offer to give her 60k monthly, which she declined. Jagga supports Amrita's decision, but Meher disagrees, accusing Kulwant of manipulation. She encourages Amrita to stand up for her rights, asserting that she shouldn't be scared like Arti.

Sarab agrees with Meher, emphasizing that it's Amrita's career and life, and no one else should decide for her. Jagga acknowledges their points but states that their house and rules are different. Kulwant insists on taking Amrita with her and invites her to dance.

Sarab announces a special revelation: naming the biggest NGO in Punjab after his son Karan. Harleen, in anger, announces her plan to open India's biggest NGO named after Param.

Meher challenges Kulwant, stating she knows how to play the game. She announces the opening of Atari’s biggest coaching center, named Amrita Coaching Center. Everyone is invited to the inauguration. Sarab insists everyone must attend and wishes Amrita the best. Kulwant is shocked, but Meher smiles at her.

Yuvi points out that despite Kulwant's objections, Meher's coaching center will open because Kulwant can't control things in front of Harleen. Kulwant asserts her authority, saying she does what she wants and doesn't listen to anyone, not even God, and certainly not Meher.

In another scene, Sarab initiates the sugarcane-breaking ritual, explaining it to Rana. He dances with the kids, and everyone joins in. Meher dances with Param and adds peanuts to the fire.

She brings Kulwant into the dance, and Jagga joins them, singing about doing what their mother wants and praising Amrita's coaching center. Meher brings Amrita into the celebration.

Jagga pledges to Amrita, promising to always protect her, and asks her never to leave his side. Amrita holds his hand, and Jagga kisses it. Kulwant is furious. Amrita hugs Jagga, and everyone celebrates together.

Jagga and Amrita share sugarcane. Yuvi shares a saying his mother told him about being his roof, and Jagga jokes about being a room, like Meher gave Param Karan to play with.

Sarab expresses his love to Meher, making a heartfelt promise. Kulwant, on her way home, recalls Meher and Jagga's words and realizes her next move. She laughs sinisterly.

Back at home, Sarab and Meher make promises to each other, including forgiving mistakes and never crying.

Kulwant enters the house and starts breaking furniture with an axe, expressing her anger and determination to show her power against Meher and Sarab.

Jagga suggests they head home, insisting everyone must accompany them. Param reassures Meher, saying they will stay home. Meher accompanies them. Kulwant accidentally burns her eyes with fire, causing her to scream for help. Meher and Jagga rush home.

They find Kulwant in distress. Yuvi informs Meher that Kulwant burned all her coaching materials. Meher cries upon seeing the damage. They bring Kulwant inside, where she complains of darkness due to her injured eyes. Jagga takes her inside and calls a doctor.

Yuvi mentions that Kulwant burned all the furniture from their grandmother's place. Amrita offers cold water to Kulwant, but she rejects it, expressing her distress over her eyesight and accusing Amrita of previously confiding in Meher about her.

The doctor arrives, and Yuvi fetches the first aid kit for him. Jagga explains that Kulwant has burned her eyes.

Kulwant demands Jagga to send Amrita away. Despite Jagga's orders, Amrita hesitates to leave. Jagga raises his voice, insisting that she goes.
