Param returns home in a distressed state, and Harleen inquires about what's troubling him. He asks about Meher mama's whereabouts, and Harleen informs him that they went out.
Tearfully, Param reveals that Mama and Papa lied to him, recounting how Yuvi told him that Meher mama would die when the baby arrives. He expresses a strong aversion to having a baby. Harleen clarifies that the baby will come, but Meher mama will be fine, comforting Param and offering to stay with Meher to care for her.
Harleen hints to Rovi that their plans have changed and mentions Meher, promising to explain later. Sarab assures Meher that they will visit the doctor and drive cautiously.
However, Meher insists on stopping the car and buys gol gappay from a street vendor. Sarab is concerned about hygiene but complies, even making gol gappay for Meher, leading to a playful moment where they enjoy the street food together.
Amrita confronts Yuvi about his lie and slaps him, emphasizing that she did it for his well-being. Kulwant intervenes, chastising Amrita and telling Jitto to leave. Yuvi defends Jitto and threatens to leave if she does. Kulwant reveals that she secured Yuvi's admission and expects no complaints.
When Meher and Sarab return home, Param hides. Harleen warmly congratulates Meher and reveals her excitement. She expresses her willingness to cancel her Canada plans to stay with them. However, when Param emerges and declares that he doesn't want the baby, the atmosphere takes an unexpected turn.
Meher questions Sarab, asking why not have a baby. Sarab expresses concern, reminding her that she wanted to play with the baby. Param chimes in, explaining his fear that if the baby comes, Meher mama's tummy will burst, leading to her demise. Harleen dismisses this as a rumor from another child, but Param remains unconvinced, insisting that Meher tricked him. Harleen believes that Param hid the news to surprise her and expresses joy. Param ends up sleeping outside, and Meher suggests going to the show, but Param prefers to stay where he is.
Harleen and Sarab put on a show for Param, telling a story about a lonely child who received the news of a new baby and celebrated with their family. Meher shares memories of her childhood with her brothers, showing videos and singing with them.
Param, coming out of his camp, smiles and acknowledges the joy of having siblings. However, he still expresses reluctance about the new baby due to the unsettling story from school.
Meher trips while chasing Param, and Harleen helps her by icing her injured foot. Dolly asks what happened, and Harleen suggests that they should tell everyone about the pregnancy.
In the next scene, Meher tries to comfort Param, who remains upset. He shares his fear of Meher leaving like his first mama did, citing an incident where his friend's mom died after the baby's arrival. Meher reassures him that she will never leave him and promises to talk to God.
At home, Yuvi prepares to leave for school, and Jitto advises him to apologize to his mom. Kulwant interferes, instructing Yuvi not to apologize to anyone, which Yuvi repeats with sarcasm. Amrita arrives, and Yuvi apologizes and hugs her, prompting Kulwant to believe that Jitto is influencing him.
Param encounters the same schoolmate and learns that his friend's mom was not well, and her tummy didn't burst, dispelling his fears. He returns home and hugs Meher, expressing his desire for a baby and love for them.
Meher and Sarab are relieved and decide to share the news and plan a party. Harleen agrees and mentions preparations, then discovers Meher's medical reports, hinting at a possible discovery.
