Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update for Tuesday 9 January 2024
Vikram asks Aditi, "I sent you a photo. Can you tell who they are?" Aditi responds, "They are Meher’s brothers Bitu and Rana. What are they doing outside your house?" Vikram says, "I knew someone entered the house yesterday. I would wait for the right time to react." Aditi asks, "What would you do?" She reaches somewhere.
In another scene, Meher says, "Thank God, Karan is better now." Sarab tells Harleen, "I told you Vikram can’t do anything. He will have to close the case." Aditi arrives, and Meher greets her.
Sarab says, "What a pleasant surprise. This is your house, but is all good?" Aditi responds, "I wanted to check up on Karan.
Meher says thanks to you. No one can do much for this house." Aditi mentions Sarab calling her his sister, and Harleen expresses her sentiments. Param comes and greets Aditi.
Aditi reveals, "I am sorry. I can understand Harleen’s sentiments. This is the reality. What could I do? His inquiry is causing you and your family trouble. He’s my..." Meher interrupts, saying it isn’t her mistake.
Sarab adds, "Exactly. I have no problem with Dewan. He is doing his job here. Outside his office he is my sister’s fiance." Aditi says that’s great and invites them for dinner to celebrate their proposal anniversary. Sarab agrees.
Param asks when they will check Karan. Aditi replies, "You have to be my assistant." Param questions if he is a doctor now, and Aditi continues, "I am giving you this because you are a big boy now.
Don’t tell Meher mama about it." Meher comes in, and Aditi asks her for water. Param hides the gift. Sarab reassures Harleen about attending the dinner, saying, "Even if she’s doing drama, what would a dinner do?"
Aditi leaves, and Param hides the gift in his pocket. He tries to share it with Karan, but Meher interrupts. Param hides it and goes to his online class. Meher asks Sarab which dress and jewelry she should wear for the dinner. Sarab makes his choices.
In another scene, Rana regains consciousness. Bitu and Kulwant inquire about what he saw that day. Rana reveals, "Vikram is Manav." Bitu is shocked, and Kulwant says, "I told you both."
They find a ration card with Vikram's parents' names from Delhi. Kulwant suggests going to Delhi to meet the people mentioned as Vikram's parents. Amrita reacts in surprise.
Meher and Sarab get ready in black. Meher asks Lalita, "Did you have food?" Lalita replies, "I don’t feel like." Sarab assures her, "You are part of our family now. None of us sleep without food." Sarab instructs the chef to prepare Lalita's favorite dishes.
Param asks, "Where are you going?" Meher answers, "We are going to Dr. Aditi’s place for dinner, and the good news is that we are not taking Karan with us." Param questions, "And me?" Sarab replies, "We will get late, and you sleep on time."
Param insists, "I will stay up." Meher concedes, "Okay, you get ready." Meher instructs Lalita, "Param is going with us, please don’t play with his new block game." Param recalls hiding the inhaler in it.
Param says, "I don’t want to go. I want to play with the blocks." Meher allows, "Okay, but sleep by 9." Meher and Sarab leave.
At Aditi's place, Meher gives her flowers, and Sarab comments, "Nice house. Where is Dewan?" Aditi responds, "He’s making food for both of you, so he’s in the kitchen. Let me get drinks." Sarab steps out to take a call. Meher wanders around the hall and notices several paintings. She touches one depicting a man trying to hold a woman’s hand.
Meher looks at herself in mirrors, turns around, and sees Vikram approaching strangely. She sees Manav's reflection and recalls her moments with him. Lights blink, and Vikram's shoes leave bloodstains, accompanied by a knife stabbed in his back. Meher is shocked, and the song "Teri Qismat Ich" plays. Vikram falls at her feet. Meher screams.
Sarab rushes in, asking, "What happened, Meher ji?" He notices Vikram and questions, "Mr. Dewan? What happened?" Aditi arrives as well, and Vikram laughs, revealing it was just acting for fun. Sarab tries to console Meher, and Vikram explains he made a bet with Aditi.
He bet that both Meher and Sarab wouldn't recognize him. Vikram laughs, and Meher is left in shock. Aditi apologizes, and Vikram reveals it was part of a charity drama show. Meher, in shock, asks for the washroom, and Aditi offers to show her.
In the restroom, Meher recalls everything and cries. She attempts to wash her face, holding her head. Meher remembers Kulwant killing Manav, and Bitu and Rana disposing of his body in the river. She sobs silently. Sarab knocks on the door, asking Meher to open it.
