Sarab informs Vikram that Karan has become friends with him. Vikram finds it odd as people usually consider him their enemy. Meher talks to Param, who asks when she'll come home.
Meher replies, "When the bigger arm of the clock is on 12 and the smaller on 6." Param expresses love, and Meher reciprocates. Karan receives a call, apologizes, and Meher tries to enter but is stopped by the manager.
Vikram, unable to see Meher's face, questions Sarab about her. Sarab explains their family visit for Karan's vaccination. Vikram, aware of the recording, alerts the anti-corruption department, emphasizing the importance of not disowning words in court. He asks Sarab if he's ready, and Sarab nods.
Kulwant is attended by her sister, Amrita, and Aditi. Aditi suggests Manav's presence for Kulwant's well-being. Rana brings bananas, and Kulwant requests good tasty food. Aditi advises tying her with a bed belt for rest. She leaves, and Rana faints.
Param, worried about his parents not returning, waits for Sarab. Sarab tells Vikram that he hopes he answered all questions with proofs. Vikram closes the file but not the case, vowing to inquire further.
He questions Sarab about his mother-in-law's actions, revealing an attack that Meher went to the police station to address. Vikram is surprised Sarab wasn't informed, accusing him of both scamming and acting. Sarab is taken aback by the revelation.
Sarab, leaving the place, is urged by Meher to share what happened. Vikram, observing Meher through the camera, remarks that chess is played with both king and queen, hinting at a complex situation ahead.
Sarab expresses his frustration, saying, "I am mad at mama papa. They didn’t even come on time." Harleen reassures him, stating that their arrival time doesn't matter, and they will eventually come, leading him to melt in a second. Param, however, asserts that he is super big now and cannot be easily convinced.
Vikram calls Aditi, questioning if Sarab has been arrested. Vikram notes her directness, mentioning she didn't exchange pleasantries before asking. Aditi explains that Meher and Sarab had to visit her for Karan’s vaccination.
She expresses her belief that a child shouldn't suffer for his father’s sins. Vikram acknowledges the preparation and intelligence behind the file but affirms his intention to investigate the scam. Aditi offers to assist in the case.
Meher questions Sarab's silence and expresses concern about his unusual worry. Sarab stops the car, revealing his happiness at Vikram's revelation about Meher's mother attacking him. He is perplexed that no one informed him, neither Meher nor his mother.
Sarab apologizes for his earlier behavior, acknowledging Meher's attempts to convey something important. Meher, in tears, urges him not to apologize. Sarab insists on being punished, and Meher playfully instructs him to do three ups and downs while saying, "I am sorry, Meher." Sarab complies, and they plan to visit Aditi’s clinic and have ice cream. Sarab jokingly notes how Meher tricks him into saying things.
Aditi mentions, "I meet Kulwant. She's stable now. But if there is a strike again, this case can complicate." Sarab reassures Meher, saying, "Don’t worry, Meher. It’s a medical condition." Aditi informs them, "Karan is still underweight.
You will have to take care of him. Pre-mature kids take time to develop an immune system." Sarab proudly states, "He’s like me, even looks like me." Aditi contradicts, saying, "No, he doesn’t even look like you."
Meher interjects, "Faces don’t matter. I don’t look like family either. It’s the personality that matters. I hope his personality is like Sarab’s. He speaks so well. And his presence of mind, he always saves me from falling." Sarab playfully asks, "What else do you like about me?" Meher gets confused.
