Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update For Saturday 8th July 2023:Meher Passes Dolly's Cooking Test

Choti Sardarni 8th July 2023 Episode:Meher Passes Dolly's Cooking Test

In the episode, Jagga is seen crying, and Kulwant asks him the reason behind his tears. Jagga reveals that Meher, who used to take care of the entire house, is no longer present. He mentions that he hasn't seen her smile since that day. Kulwant argues that girls are meant to get married and suggests bringing Meher back to their house. However, Jagga insists that she won't come back.

Meanwhile, a doctor examines Param's wound, and Harleen questions Sarab about his anger towards Meher. Sarab had thrown his wedding ring, and Harleen defends Meher, stating that it wasn't her fault. The doctor asks about the person who dressed Param's wound, and Dolly blames Meher for it, assuming that she made it worse. However, the doctor clarifies that Meher did the right thing by dressing the wound, and Param thanks her.

Later, Harleen brings Sarab to Meher and urges him to apologize. Sarab apologizes to Meher, promising not to hurt her again. Harleen tells Meher that it's her right to be angry and leaves them alone. Sarab talks to Meher, expressing his concerns about her pregnancy and the lies she told. Meher apologizes and offers to leave, but Sarab insists that she stays, mentioning the need to pretend until they find a solution.

In another scene, Dolly and Rovi discuss Meher's behavior, noting that she doesn't come out of her room or interact with anyone. Sarab arrives and asks Dolly to send breakfast to Meher's room, but Dolly insists that Meher needs to come out. Harleen decides to give Meher the keys to the house, but Dolly disagrees, saying she wants to test Meher first. Dolly asks Meher to make kheer within 45 minutes to prove her capability. Sarab remains seated, while Dolly urges him to hurry up.

Meher and Param have a conversation in the kitchen, and Sarab eventually decides to make the kheer himself. Param insists on helping, and Sarab struggles with a jar until Param shows him how to open it, crediting Meher for teaching him. Meanwhile, the pressure cooker starts building up pressure, and Meher takes Param aside to explain that kheer should not be made in a pressure cooker. Despite the time constraint, Meher takes charge and manages to make the kheer in a few minutes.

After the time is up, Meher, Sarab, and Param come out with the kheer. Param proudly announces that his "super mummy" made the kheer, and everyone tastes it, praising Meher's cooking. Dolly compliments Meher and says she passed her challenge. Meher makes Param eat the kheer, and Sarab watches them with affection.

Later, Harleen gives Meher the keys and declares it as her new responsibility. However, Dolly reveals that there is another challenge and a "munh dikhai" (traditional ceremony where the bride reveals her face) function. Rovi, who had made a bet about Meher not getting the keys, becomes upset. Kulwant expresses her happiness about Meher taking care of the house, and the family members bring gifts. Harleen invites everyone to the "munh dikhai" function and challenges Meher further.

In a separate scene, Rovi receives a call from a bookie demanding money. Harleen notices his worried state and suggests asking Meher for financial assistance. Rovi feels disrespected by the suggestion and quotes an old saying about sisters-in-law in their in-laws' house.

Kulwant observes Sarab, worried about his emotionalwell-being, and asks Jagga if Meher has told Sarab something. Kulwant approaches Sarab, who appears concerned, and asks if he's okay and happy. Sarab reveals that he knew about the upcoming "munh dikhai" function. Meher recalls Harleen giving her the keys as a symbol of trust. Param realizes Meher's absence and starts crying, pleading with Sarab to bring her back. Sarab finds a letter from Meher, where she apologizes for causing him suffering and asks for forgiveness. Overwhelmed, Sarab embraces Param and assures him that he will bring Meher back.
