Written Update of Choti Sardarni for Friday, 21st July 2023
Kulwant contacts Meher, and Dolly joins the conversation. Dolly compliments Meher's room but subtly hints that Meher seems worried. Kulwant asks what happened, and Dolly accuses her of having a guilty conscience. Kulwant denies any wrongdoing, but Dolly challenges her by saying she has evidence. She hands Kulwant the phone, and upon seeing its contents, Kulwant appears shocked.
Meanwhile, a doctor advises Sarab to keep monitoring someone's temperature, and Sarab reveals it is his wife, Meher. The doctor congratulates Sarab on his marriage, which he had kept secret, and Sarab laughs in response.
Back at the house, Kulwant defends herself against accusations of harming Dolly. Harleen tries to rationalize the situation, but Dolly believes that there is something being hidden from them.
The scene shifts to Meher taking care of Param, who is unwell with chickenpox. Sarab's friend verifies Meher's diagnosis, and Sarab shows concern for his son's well-being. Meher and Sarab work together to care for Param, with Sarab expressing his trust in Meher's ability to handle everything.
Later, Dolly visits and questions why Meher didn't inform them about Param's illness. Harleen also expresses her disappointment with Meher for not reaching out to them. The doctor confirms Param's condition and mentions that his chickenpox vaccination was missed. Sarab takes responsibility for the oversight.
In another part of the house, Kulwant comforts Rana, who feels unloved. Kulwant reassures him that she cares deeply for him.
Meher and Sarab discuss the doctor's warning about the contagious nature of chickenpox and its risks for pregnant women. Meher insists on staying with Param to take care of him, despite Sarab's concerns for her safety. Meher believes that her presence is crucial for Param's recovery.
Meher takes care of Param and assures him that she will never leave him. Sarab calls Rana to find a way to convince Meher to leave for her own safety, but Kulwant opposes the idea, stating that Meher is the best person to care for Param.
In the meantime, Dolly and others in the family are worried about contracting chickenpox and request Param to stay in his room. Param expresses his desire to eat chicken, but Meher insists that they all eat vegetarian food to accommodate him.
Meher throws away all the chicken in the kitchen to ensure that Param can have a safe meal. Kulwant arrives at the house to meet Param, but her presence makes everyone uneasy.
Sarab explains to Meher that Kulwant is here to take her away as per his request. Meher becomes upset and questions why he had to call Kulwant. Sarab defends his decision, emphasizing that it is important for Meher to take responsibility for her child. Meher becomes emotional and asks Sarab to convince Dolly. Harleen adds that Meher's leaving will impact the family significantly.
