Choti Sardarni Written Update for July 7th, 2023: Meher Confesses To Sarab She Is Pregnant For Manav
Dolly warmly welcomes the bride and groom. She mentions that this is the homecoming of three individuals. As Dolly walks, Param urges her not to leave. Dolly states that she will stop when Meher asks her to. Param pleads with her to stop, calling her "Dolly momsi." Meher requests her to halt as well. Harleen invites them inside, and Param happily plays the drum, announcing his mother's arrival. Harleen warmly welcomes Meher to her new life.
Param excitedly announces to everyone that his mother has arrived. Meher lovingly caresses his face, and he asks everyone to greet her, declaring himself a superhero from now on. Ravi points out that the red bag is missing from the car. Meher expresses its importance to her and requests them to find it. Dolly dismisses it as a bag containing insignificant things. However, Meher insists that it is important and Sarab instructs his men to search for it.
Harleen suggests playing the ring-finding ritual. Meher and Sarab join the game, and Dolly ties their hands together. Param insists on participating and his hand is also tied. Sarab eventually finds the ring, but Meher is reminded of Param's death and tightly holds Sarab's hand.
Dolly enters Ravi's room and finds Meher's bag there. She informs Ravi about it and asks him to open it. They discover that the bag contains only clothes and some children's bangles. Dolly wonders about the contents and notices a photo of Meher's father. Ravi informs her that those are Meher's childhood belongings. Meanwhile, Param finds the ring and proudly gives it to Meher, claiming victory for his mother and calling Sarab the loser. Sarab playfully remarks that Param has already switched teams.
Dolly offers to return Meher's bag and asks her to dance with Sarab in exchange. Sarab extends his hand, and Meher accepts it. They dance together, and Meher finally retrieves her bag. As she opens it, she discovers her father's photo and a piece of paper falls out. Meher picks it up and retreats to her room. Dolly is curious about the paper, and Sweeti escorts Meher to her room.
Dolly instructs Sweeti to retrieve the letter that fell when Meher hugged her father's photo, threatening her if she fails to find it. Meher contemplates her father's photo, and Sweeti approaches her. Sweeti talks about her own hero, her late father, and Meher embraces her. Sweeti mentions that there was a letter with the photo, and Meher hands it over. It turns out to be a poem written by her father. Sweeti encourages Meher to take pride in her father's legacy and assures her that she will always follow his path.
Param writes that he will have wings because his mother, Meher, is here. Harleen informs him that Meher has fallen asleep and takes him away. Harleen advises Sarab to go to Meher.
As Sarab approaches their room, he is stopped by some girls who demand toll tax. Sarab pays each of them and enters the room. Sweeti informs Dolly that the letter was from Meher's father, but Dolly complains about the lack of exciting news. Ravi arrives and asks if there is any good news, but Dolly dismisses it, assuming it's just another boring poem.
Kulwant expresses her hope that Meher will pass this test. Sarab enters the room, and Meher recalls Amrita's warning about not revealing anything to Sarab. Sarab seeks permission toenter the room and notices Meher lost in thought. He apologizes for interrupting and mentions his desire to join the army but ultimately entering politics. He praises Meher's father as a great man and expresses that Meher should strive to be like him—honest and dedicated. Meher recalls Sweeti's words and decides that it's time to confess. She tells Sarab that she didn't marry him out of choice and apologizes. She admits that she loved someone else.
Sarab is shocked and assumes she's joking, but Meher insists that it's true. She apologizes again and explains that she tried to tell him before but couldn't find the right moment. Sarab recollects the instances when Meher attempted to confess. Feeling betrayed, Sarab questions why she didn't consider anyone's feelings, including her family's, and why she went through with the whole drama of their marriage. Meher reveals that she's pregnant with her lover's child, who is no longer alive. Sarab remembers Param always longing for a mother and realizes his love for Meher. Sarab is devastated by the revelation and asks Meher why she made Param suffer. Meher apologizes once more and declares her intention to leave the house to spare Sarab and Param from further pain. She cries while Sarab recalls Dolly's words.
Param comes to Meher, stepping on glass and injuring his foot. Meher comforts him and praises his bravery. Param assures her that he won't cry because he's a superhero. Meher tends to his wound, and he declares that he'll never be alone again, hugging her tightly. Meher cries, and Param shows her a letter he wrote.
Sarab, consumed by anger, drives recklessly. He recollects Meher's confession and is filled with frustration. His car gets stuck, and in his rage, Sarab forcefully shoves the vehicle before sitting down in despair.
Rovi suggests betting on a cricket match and notices Sarab sleeping in the guestroom. He informs Dolly, suspecting that Meher has done something wrong. Dolly decides to confront Meher.
Sarab enters the room and finds Meher without her dupatta. He apologizes for not knocking and asks for it. Sarab notices the bandage on Meher's hand and immediately asks about Param's whereabouts. Meher begins explaining what happened the previous night, but Sarab interrupts and insists on knowing where Param is. Param startles Sarab as he playfully jumps out, causing Sarab to stumble and fall onto the bed with Meher.
Dolly and Rovi witness the scene and decide to leave. Harleen notices Sarab's wedding band on the floor. Sarab expresses his desire to stay with Meher and carries Param to their room. Worried, Sarab asks Param about his bruise, and Param explains that he stepped on glass. Dolly asks Meher what she was thinking, and Harleen questions where the glass came from. Meher explains that the frame of her father's picture broke, causing the glass to shatter. Rovi claims they will take care of Param and criticizes Meher for not treating him properly.
