In the episode, Dadi expresses her admiration for Meher, praising her as their lioness and complimenting her attire. The dance begins, and Kulwant joins in. Dadi announces that she will bring out a diamond locket to symbolize Meher as their sardarni (leader). She believes that Meher and Sarab were destined to be together and places the locket around Meher's neck. Kulwant remarks that Meher cries when she is happy and embraces her, urging her to stay happy. Kulwant asserts that Meher is meant for Sarab.
Sarab extends his hand, and Meher takes it. Dolly shares how her husband lifted her during their wedding, encouraging Sarab to do the same. Sarab lifts Meher and takes her to the stage. Sarab notices Momsi's daughter-in-law alone and inquires why she isn't with everyone else. She explains that she had some work and couldn't join the downstairs gathering, as widows are not supposed to attend such events. Sarab insists that she accompany him and seats her next to Meher, emphasizing that this is her home too. Dolly interrupts, expressing disapproval of Meher's presence and accusing her of causing her son's death. Sarab pleads with Dolly and requests her to sit, questioning whether he, as a widower, is also considered a curse in such gatherings. Sweeti stands up, but Sarab stops her from leaving. Meher wipes her tears and reassures Sweeti, describing Sarab as the shadow of God and emphasizing that he brings light rather than curses. Harleen encourages Dolly to enjoy the moment.
As the music starts playing, Meher sits on the stage. Harleen comments on how well Meher looks with Sarab. However, Meher abruptly leaves the room, leaving Harleen and Amrita wondering what happened. Amrita suggests that Meher might have gone to the restroom. Inside a room, Meher expresses her struggle to continue with the charade. She feels selfish for deceiving everyone who respects her, thinking she will become the daughter-in-law of the house. Meher decides to confess everything to Sarab. Unexpectedly, Sarab enters the room, shocking Amrita and Meher.
Sarab enters the room, leaving Amrita stunned. He acknowledges Meher's commitment and honesty, stating that her respect and love are unquestionable. Sarab declares her the sardarni of the house and credits her for the title he has acquired. Guddan tries to interrupt, but Sarab thanks her for supporting Meher and urges everyone to go downstairs.
The song "Mehndi Hai Sajni Wali" starts playing, and everyone joins in the dance. Sarab and Param dance together while Meher's mehndi ceremony takes place. Meher tells the mehndi artist to write the name "Manav" on her hand. The artist writes "Manav," but Kulwant notices and cuts her own hand. Sarab becomes concerned about her injury, and Kulwant blames it on the glass. Sarab tends to her wound with medicine. Dolly expresses disapproval, blaming Sweeti for the mishap and considering her cursed. Harleen suggests writing Sweeti's name on the other hand, but Sarab insists that Sweeti sit with Meher. He asks Sweeti to write his name on Meher's hand instead. Dolly becomes angry, but Sarab reminds her that Sweeti is their precious jewel and asks her to smile. Meher looks at her hand and cries.
Meanwhile, the police are searching for Kulwant's house, and Rana informs her about the situation. Sarab calls Kulwant to inquire if she is alright, and she instructs him to handle the situation while she goes there. Harleen asks if everything is okay, and Kulwant explains that someone in her area killed their daughter-in-law, and she needs to go there as the sarpanj (village head) is like a mother to her.
Kulwant meets Jagga and asks him to accompany her. She instructs Amrita to bring Meher and Yuvi later. Tara slaps Rana and interrogates him about his mother's whereabouts. Rana argues that she doesn't have a warrant, but Tara asserts her authority, mentioning that Manav was at their house last time, and his SIM was registered under Rana's sister's name and last located there. Rana tries to intimidate Tara by revealing his relationship with Sarab and Meher's upcoming marriage, but Tara insists that Sarab should know who he is marrying. Kulwant pleads with Rana not to make the call, explaining that Meher's life will be ruined. Tara calls Sarab and informs him about Manav's visit to Kulwant's house. Sarab pretends not to hear her due to the noise. Tara urges him to listen and mentions Kulwant's involvement. Kulwant pleads with Sarab to save her daughter's life and swears on Rana's life.
Kulwant confesses that Meher contacted Manav, who came to their house to strike a deal for her daughter. He demanded 50 lakh rupees, threatening to defame her. When asked about Manav's whereabouts, Kulwant reveals that he ran away with the money they gave him. Tara feels deceived by Kulwant's previous claim that Bubbly was her daughter, but Kulwant explains that she was worried about Meher's wedding and pleads for understanding. Tara leaves, warning Kulwant that she will soon learn what she plans to do.
