Sarab expresses that he can never replace Simran with Meher, but he will give her the respect she deserves. He asks Meher if she is saying yes to their marriage under pressure or from her heart. He emphasizes that they should only proceed if her answer is a heartfelt yes. Meher stands up, and Sarab assures her that she can say no if she wishes. However, if her answer is yes, they will begin their relationship based on honesty.
Meanwhile, Kulwant enters with papaya juice. Kulwant offers Meher the papaya juice, claiming that it will eliminate any worms in her body. She insists that Meher drink it, threatening to force her if necessary, and then leaves the room.
Param expresses his concern about Sarab's whereabouts, stating that he can't sleep. Harleen comments that Sarab doesn't listen to anyone and adds that Meher will take care of their house. Sarab perceives Meher's silence and understands its meaning. He tells her that if she is not ready for marriage, they won't proceed with it. Sarab leaves, and Meher attempts to call him back, but he doesn't hear her.
Sarab informs Kulwant that the wedding cannot take place as Meher has declined the proposal. He suggests they leave, and Kulwant calls out to Meher. Kulwant tries to make Meher drink the papaya juice in her dream. Sarab asks Meher if she is alright, and she responds that she is ready for the marriage, bringing a smile to Sarab's face.
Sarab comes downstairs, and Kulwant starts dancing. Jagga requests Sarab to keep Meher happy as she is his only sister. Sarab hugs Jagga, assuring him that he understands. Param questions why everyone is dancing, and Yuvi informs him that his father is getting married. Param reminds Sarab of his promise to bring his mother, and Harleen suggests they have an engagement ceremony. Kulwant suggests doing it either in 8 months or during the current week. Harleen agrees to have the engagement ceremony that week and asks Kulwant to bring Meher downstairs.
Amrita embraces Meher and urges her to say something. Amrita brings Meher downstairs, and she sits next to Sarab. Meher reminisces about her moments with Manav, and the lights come back on. Kulwant expresses her joy at the auspicious event.
The police are on their way to arrest Kulwant and Meher. Kulwant embraces Harleen, and the wedding rituals continue. Everyone congratulates Sarab and Meher. Rana takes their photo and Meher sheds tears.
Jagga receives a call and says he has to go for some work. Kulwant suggests having the engagement ceremony the next day. Meher coughs, and Sarab expresses concern. Kulwant insists that Meher is fine, but Sarab insists on waiting until she recovers. Harleen suggests postponing the engagement for 8 months and advises Sarab to take care of Meher. They all leave the room.
Harleen acknowledges that Sarab made the right decision to delay the wedding and understands that he may not be ready for it. She encourages him to move forward with his new life.
Kulwant enters Meher's room, and Amrita defends Meher, saying that she didn't intentionally delay anything. Kulwant blames Meher for the delay and forcefully grabs her. Amrita pleads with Kulwant, explaining that it's not Meher's fault. Kulwant pushes Meher and smears dirt on her face. Amrita cries, and Kulwant pours water on Meher, causing her to cry. Outside, the police arrive, mentioning a case related to Manav Sharma and inquiring about Kulwant and Meher's whereabouts. Meher points at Kulwant as the culprit.
