On Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, in the latest episode of Choti Sardarni, a series of surprising events unfold within the family. Yuvi catches Rovi stealing money from Mehar's room, and Rovi tries to bribe him into keeping it a secret. However, when Mehar and Param enter the room, Rovi hides behind the sofa. As they discover a bag full of money, they assume it's part of a treasure hunt, but to their shock, they find divorce papers instead.
During the winners' announcement in the hall, Sarab and Mehar are alarmed to see Rovi holding the file. Rovi and Harleen gather all the family elders and confront them about the divorce. The family is taken aback, and Mehar is blamed as the mother-in-law. Sarab explains that they decided on the divorce mutually, hoping it would be a helpful solution if their marriage couldn't progress further. Though the family is unhappy, they eventually agree, influenced by Sarab's reasoning.
Rovi's daughter informs Param about Mehar and Sarab's divorce, leading to an emotional confrontation between Param and Sarab. Param is upset about the divorce and expresses his anger by hitting Sarab. He reveals that he learned about it from Harleen's daughter.
Later, Sarab scolds Mehar for mishandling the divorce file, fearing it could have caused trouble. Meanwhile, Mehar tries to make Param smile and explains to him that she loves him, along with their pets Softy, Jumbo, and Chikoo. Param emotionally hugs Mehar, promising that he will divorce his father if Sarab leaves her.
After a birthday party, Sarab plans to take Param home, but Mehar asks him to let Param sleep as he is half asleep. Sarab sits with Param, and they share a moment, planning a secret honeymoon and a plan to fake Mehar's death to protect her from the family's schemes.
The next day, Kulwant posts a picture with Sarab, hoping it will serve her purposes. An unidentified lady mentions that Mehar hasn't performed her Pegfera ceremony for a month. Kulwant asks her to inform others that Mehar will do it soon.
Kulwant calls Sarab and requests him to bring Mehar so that Yuvi can meet her, and they can perform the Pegfera ceremony. Sarab agrees and plans a surprise for Mehar.
Meanwhile, Mehar talks to Param about loving his father and taking care of himself. She informs Param that she will only be there for a few more days. Later, Sarab tries to convince Mehar to join him for a family lunch, while Param playfully teases them. Sarab is careful not to reveal his plan to Mehar, as she can easily detect his lies. Despite some humorous exchanges, Mehar agrees to accompany Sarab for the lunch.
