Kulwant receives a call from Param. He informs her that Meher wants to say "I love you" to her. Kulwant is surprised and asks if Meher really said that. Param confirms it and requests Kulwant not to leave them, as both he and Meher would cry. Kulwant assures him that she would never make them cry. Overwhelmed with emotions, Kulwant cries, and Jagga asks her what happened. She tells him that Param expressed his love for her on Meher's behalf. Param hugs Meher and says he loves her.
Sarab asks Param if he felt bad when Sarab asked him to leave. Param apologizes and smiles. Harleen enters the scene, and Param hugs her.
Sarab attends a party meeting and shares that their mission is not just about ruling but about taking Punjab on the path of success. Hukum serves food, and everyone praises it as magical. Sarab compliments the food and receives a letter from Meher, apologizing for being mad at him without any reason. She also expresses gratitude for the photo of her father and hopes he likes the food she made. Hukum reveals that Meher prepared the food. Sarab smiles.
Sarab confronts Meher, questioning her actions and how she made everyone believe that they live happily together. Meher explains that she was trying to apologize, but Sarab insists that people should not think they are happy. Param interrupts, defending his mother, and Sarab asks him to leave. Param refuses and Meher pleads with him.
Param finally agrees and calls her "Meher mama." Harleen checks if everything is fine, praising Meher's cooking skills. Sarab asks her to prepare something for Hukumchand's dinner. Harleen mentions that Meher will handle it. Sarab approaches Param, apologizing for his behavior, and Param admits that he loves Meher and likes her. He goes to Meher.
During the dinner, Hukumchand compliments the food and mentions that Meher's love for Sarab is the special ingredient. Everyone appreciates Meher, and Harleen remarks that she brought happiness to their house. A woman comments on Meher's excellent care for Param and advises her not to neglect him when she has her own kids. Sarab interrupts and asks Param to leave. Param insists on sleeping with Meher, and she takes him to bed. Param falls asleep.
Sarab visits Param and asks him to wake up. Meher tells him not to disturb Param's sleep, but Sarab believes that reality will eventually wake him up. Sarab expresses his concerns about Meher leaving and asks what he should do then. He suggests that Meher should make Param hate her, so it will be easier for him to move on. Meher tearfully refuses, stating that children are like gods, and there should be no room for hate. Sarab insists that he must think about his own child, as Param is getting attached to her. Meher is left in tears as Sarab leaves.
The next morning, Param searches for Meher, thinking she's playing hide and seek. He finds her and asks what she will make him eat that day. Meher looks at Sarab, hesitates, and mentions that she will make tinday (a vegetable dish). Param expresses his dislike for tinday, stating that he will never eat them. Param leaves.
Param meets Dolly and complains that his mother is making him tinday, which he doesn't like. Dolly suggests that Meher is acting as a stepmom, but Sweeti questions what makes her a stepmom. Dolly promises to make pizza for him, but Param insists on eating only when his mama cooks.
Yuvi sits on the Sarpannj's seat, and Kulwant claims that the future has arrived. Amrita wonders if any school will accept Yuvi now, but Kulwant assures her that she will get him admission anywhere. Kulwant also mentions her plan to become a minister while Yuvi takes charge of the seat.
Dolly sees the tinday and realizes that Meher made them for Param. Param informs her that he will only eat the food his mom prepares. However, he expresses his dislike for tinday. Meher convinces him that tinday will make him stronger and turn him into a superhero. Param reluctantly eats the tinday and declares them as his new favorite.
Sarab confronts Meher, questioning her actions once again. Meher explains that she tried her best. Sarab realizes that Param will now eat tinday every day. Meher defends her choice, stating that tinday are good for health. Sarab reminds her of his request to make Param hate her, but Param interrupts, saying he has homework and wants Meher to help him. Sarab offers to do it, but Param insists on Meher's assistance, as she will do it correctly.
Param begins writing an essay about his mama (Meher). He expresses his love for her and hopes she will never hate him. Param falls asleep in Meher's lap. Sarab enters the room, and Meher looks at him. Harleen also comes in, and Param asks them to let him sleep. Harleen mentions something about keys, and Meher realizes that she doesn't have them. Harleen says that Rovi needed money for his business, but Sarab takes the keys from Harleen and tells Meher that she can keep them.
The next morning, Hukum requests Meher's signature for her passport. Meher notices that her name has been changed and insists on keeping her father's name as it is a testament to his service to the country. Sarab enters and Meher goes to her room. Dolly criticizes Meher for lacking respect. Harleen steps in and promises to handle the situation. Sarab approaches Meher and tells her that she could have told him in private. Meher explains that she was asked in front of everyone and only refused to change her name. Sarab assures her that he will keep his promise of settling her in Europe without changing her name. Meher signs the form, and Sarab reaffirms that she must make Param hate her before they can fulfill their plans.
