Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update for Thursday, 17 April 2025
The episode begins with the inspector saying they have to arrest Kulwant because the gun was in her hand when the bullet was fired. Seher insists it was an accident and that Nani didn’t do anything intentionally. Kulwant pleads with Jeeto to let her meet Gullu once. Jeeto shows her Gullu’s blood-soaked clothes and tells her to meet that instead.
Karan steps in and urges Jeeto to tell the truth to the police. He reminds her that Nani walked on burning coal for Gullu and that she knows how much Kulwant loves him. As the police are about to take Kulwant away, Rane and Bittu try to stop them. Mannat asks them to let Kulwant receive treatment first, as her feet are bleeding. Jeeto’s mother smiles as the police take Kulwant away. Bittu cries and blames himself. Karan consoles him, asking him not to lose hope. Ginny says Kulwant needs his support now. Mannat also cries.
Kulwant sits in the lockup. Rajveer and Seher visit her. Seher assures her they’ll get her out on bail. Rajveer says they’ve already spoken to the lawyer. Kulwant says she accepts the punishment. Seher reminds her that she didn’t mean to hurt anyone and only wanted to do the right thing for Mannat. Kulwant says all of them are her children, and she just wants to see them happy. She says she doesn’t regret going to jail but only hopes Gullu recovers. She stands by her decision to bring Mannat back and says it’s her duty to give Mannat her rights. Seher tells her that everyone understands her intention and asks her to trust God.
Seher speaks to the inspector and asks if Nani can get bail. The inspector says they can’t do anything unless Jeeto withdraws the case. Seher wonders if Jeeto will agree. Rajveer says they will try.
At home, Dolly praises Zoravar for saving Gullu. Zoravar adds that Mannat also helped, took care of Gullu, and even donated her blood. Scarlet becomes jealous as Zoravar praises Mannat. Dolly says no one expected that Bittu had an affair and that his daughter would show up one day. Kiara asks why Mannat is suffering when she’s not at fault.
The manager brings the factory banner with “Sardaarni Simrat Kaur” on it. Zoravar says Kiara designed the logo and tells the manager to send it to Inderpal without an invitation—so he knows they are their mother’s children and will fulfill her dreams.
Mannat asks Seher where Dadi is. Rajveer says Kulwant will be released only if Jeeto Mami withdraws the case. Mannat goes to talk to Jeeto. Jeeto signals her to be quiet and takes her outside—then slaps her hard. Everyone is shocked. Seher says Jeeto shouldn’t have done that. Jeeto asks who Mannat thinks she is. Rajveer says Mannat is a daughter of the house and part of the family.
Mannat begs Jeeto to scold her all she wants but to please get Dadi out of jail. Jeeto says she hates her voice, face—everything. She tells Mannat not to act like Kulwant’s lawyer. Seher reminds her that Gullu is alive because of Mannat. Bittu asks how long Jeeto will keep punishing Kulwant. Jeeto says she wants to give her the pain she gave her. Mannat cries.
Rajveer continues working on getting Kulwant released. Seher asks Prince to eat something. Prince tells her she’s also hungry. Seher encourages him to eat. Rajveer tells Seher that Kulwant will get bail only if Jeeto takes the complaint back. Karan tries to feed Mannat, but she refuses to eat until Kulwant returns. Then she tries to feed him, but he also refuses until she eats first. Mannat breaks down crying.
Zoravar notices his shirt’s button is missing and changes his shirt. Scarlet offers to sew the button. Kiara asks if she needs help, but Scarlet refuses. The manager brings a newspaper and shows it to them. Scarlet smiles. Karan reads the news aloud: it claims Mannat is Kulwant’s second son Baljeet’s illegitimate daughter. Mannat becomes emotional and wonders if Zoravar exposed her identity. Scarlet gloats, saying she knows how to show someone their worth.
Karan and Rane speak to reporters, asking them to publish an apology. Karan tells Mannat not to worry. Mannat cries. Jeeto enters, clapping sarcastically. She says now the world knows about the illegitimate girl. Rane defends Mannat, calling her part of their family. Jeeto accuses Mannat of getting the article published to ruin their reputation. She calls her a *naagin* and asks why she exposed her identity to the world. Karan says Mannat wouldn’t do that. Jeeto continues blaming her. Seher tells Jeeto to be reasonable. Jeeto burns the newspaper in anger.
Scarlet burns the factory banner too. The manager warns that if Zoravar finds out, there will be trouble. Scarlet smugly asks, “Who will tell him? You?”
Jeeto blames Mannat and her mother for ruining her life. She tells Bittu she will punish him forever and says he should stay with his illegitimate daughter. She announces she’s leaving the house with Gullu and wants a divorce. Rane tries to stop her, saying she’s acting out of anger. Jeeto says she can’t tolerate it anymore.
Bittu falls at her feet, begging her not to leave and asking her to hit him if that will make things right. He says the house will fall apart without her. Jeeto pushes him away and walks out. Bittu breaks down. Rane and Karan try to console him. Mannat, devastated, blames Zoravar for everything happening in her life and in the house.
Meanwhile, Dolly speaks to Zoravar, saying Kulwant will be released anyway, but they still don’t know who leaked the news. Zoravar says nothing stays hidden from the media but wonders who did it. Mannat walks in and accuses him of exploiting her weakness and leaking the story.
Zoravar is shocked and asks if she really thinks he could do that. Mannat says she was foolish to trust a businessman. She says her Dadi is in jail and she’s wasting time talking to him because she can’t get her out. She wishes she had met his mother and asked her why she didn’t teach him how to feel emotions.
Zoravar becomes furious and signals the workers to leave. They go. He kicks a paint bucket that splashes all over Mannat. He shouts at her never to speak about his mother. She says she will. Zoravar tells her to leave and says she causes her own problems. He tells her not to show her face again. Scarlet walks in and shows the burnt factory banner. The manager says someone set it on fire. Zoravar asks who did it.
Scarlet blames Mannat, saying she did it out of revenge because the banner had his mother’s name. Mannat denies it. Zoravar scolds her and tells her to control her emotions before lecturing others. Mannat says she isn’t afraid and vows to stop the factory from opening. Zoravar says the factory *will* open—and she will cut the ribbon. Scarlet fumes, thinking Mannat was winning everyone’s hearts, but now things will change.
Later, Seher tells the inspector that everyone has given a statement saying it was an accident. She asks him to release Kulwant. The inspector says only Gullu’s mother can withdraw the complaint.
Mannat goes to talk to Kulwant. The inspector tells Bittu to convince Jeeto. Bittu says she isn’t listening. They decide to try again. Seher says they’ll convince her. Bittu says Jeeto is leaving with Gullu—how can they stop her?
Just then, Jeeto arrives with her mother and brother. She says she is withdrawing the case and asks the inspector to release Kulwant.
