Kenyan comedian MCA Tricky, known for his hilarious performances, recently opened up about his plan to get married this year and shared some lesser-known details. In an interview with Nairobi News, he revealed his pursuit of a white woman and his hope that she would be charmed by him.
"I'm trying to win over this white woman, but it's not working out yet. I hope to make it happen this year, but let's wait and see. Nowadays, young people tend to fear marriage," MCA Tricky jokingly expressed.
He also emphasized the economic challenges of raising a child in the Kenyan economy without sufficient means to cater to their needs and lifestyle.
"I prefer a white woman, but if that doesn't work out, then let marriage wait," he added with a touch of humor.
A few months ago, MCA Tricky faced significant pressure to settle down and start a family. During an interview, he mentioned that his mother didn't want to hear any excuses in 2023 as to why he hadn't found a life partner yet. At the time, he revealed that he was dating someone but hadn't introduced her to his mother, emphasizing the need to be sure before taking that step.
"My mother is unhappy with me because she believes I should already have three children. I won't reveal too much to my fans, even after I make things official," he explained.
In the same interview with Nairobi News, the comedian discussed his plans to transform his comedy style and focus on stand-up comedy full-time. He expressed his desire to change his comedy act and primarily engage in stand-up performances, as he believes it is the way forward for his brand.
Tricky also shared insights into his social media skits, mentioning that he creates them to entertain his loyal fans. However, his main motivation for producing such content is the opportunity to secure brand endorsements, leveraging his comedy skills to generate income.
"I mostly create skits on my social media platforms when collaborating with brands. These skits help me advertise and promote the brands I work with. It's a mutually beneficial approach to content creation," he explained.
