Sarab's Kids steal Dar's Stick
Tai Ji tells Dolly that Meher is out of control because of her influence. She decides to take action and bring Meher back to her place. Tai Ji asks how they got married, and Dolly mentions it was through a middle woman, noting that Meher’s mom is a sarpanch. Tai Ji asks if Meher thinks of herself as a queen. Dolly confirms, saying Meher acts like one.
Tai Ji insists on knowing how the marriage happened, and when Harleen arrives, Dolly suggests asking her since she finalized it. Harleen tries to distract Tai Ji by asking her to teach them how to make pickles, but Daar Ji calls Harleen away. Tai Ji promises to return and ask the same question.
Param enters the room where Karan and Seher are dancing, celebrating that they broke the stick. Param is upset and tells them that Tai Ji scolded their mother because of what they did. He feels guilty and says they made a mistake, even though they did it for their parents. Seher reminds them they have to wake up at 5 AM.
Meher is upset, recalling how Daar Ji called Karan his blood. Sarab notices her crying and tries to comfort her. He acknowledges that Daar Ji hates lies and worries about what might happen if he finds out.
Meher fears that Daar Ji can forgive mistakes but not lies. Sarab reassures her, saying they didn’t lie, they just hid a truth to maintain peace. He suggests they come up with a plan to make things right. They both smile as they think of a brilliant idea.
The kids wake up and hear the sound of the stick. They are shocked to see Meher, dressed like Daar Ji, holding the stick. The kids are surprised and ask how she got it. Meher explains that this stick belongs to their younger grandfather, Gurbaskh Singh Ji, and their father entrusted it to her. Daar Ji arrives, and Meher touches his feet, handing him the stick.
Daar Ji is emotional, saying that after 25 years, Meher has reunited him with his brother by preserving their family’s heritage. He explains to the kids that the stick represents their younger grandfather, Gurbaskh Singh Ji, and tells them to take blessings from the stick.
Daar Ji then asks if they are ready for their punishment. Seher tries to delay it, mentioning a school project, and Karan asks if they can be punished after two days.
Meher offers to help with the project, but Daar Ji insists they must face their punishment. He makes the kids run in the garden until they are exhausted, with the song "Hanikarak" playing in the background.
Meher searches for something and finds Karan’s file, remembering how angry Harleen was about it. Sarab arrives and lifts Meher off the stool, expressing how lucky he feels to have a wife like her who solves problems before they arise. He thanks her for reminding him about his father’s stick. They playfully chase each other around the room, but Tai Ji arrives and picks up the file.
Before she can open it, Sarab distracts her by complimenting her skin and eyes, making her laugh. Meher then asks Tai Ji what she wanted to talk about, and Tai Ji says she wants to ensure Daar Ji’s friends are served well. Meher assures her not to worry, but Tai Ji expresses her doubts and asks about Meher’s family. She questions why Meher’s mother hasn’t visited her in-laws.
Meanwhile, Kulwant, in a different location, plots the destruction of the Gill family, believing her game has just begun. Bitu asks what she is planning, and she reveals her intention to ruin the family once she gets out.
Tai Ji continues questioning Meher’s family’s absence, but Sarab defends them, saying they are busy and emphasizing that all families are equal. Tai Ji dismisses his words, insisting that Meher has taught him her ways, implying that these are old rituals Sarab cannot understand.
The kids, exhausted from their punishment, tell Daar Ji they are not feeling well, which makes everyone laugh. Meher gives them juice, but Daar Ji insists they drink milk, determined to turn them into lions.
Meher expresses her confidence that with Daar Ji’s blessings, they will indeed become lions. When Daar Ji’s knees hurt, Meher suggests using an ice pack, but Tai Ji dismisses her advice, insisting she knows better and that ice increases pain.
Later, Dolly serves badam halwa to everyone, and Daar Ji asks the kids to recite multiplication tables in Punjabi. The kids struggle, and Amrita chokes on the halwa. Daar Ji tries to help but cannot stand. Meher rushes over and hits Amrita’s back, causing her to spit out the halwa.
However, Amrita slaps Meher, accusing her of disrespect. Tai Ji harshly questions Meher, accusing her of being violent and vengeful. Sarab defends Meher, insisting she would never harm anyone, but Tai Ji continues her accusations, claiming Meher has manipulated Sarab and is showing her true colors.
Daar Ji intervenes, shouting at Amrit Kaur to stop. He defends Meher, explaining that she saved Amrita’s life and does not deserve to be accused. He chastises Tai Ji for not thanking Meher and instead blaming her.
Tai Ji, feeling insulted, leaves in anger. Meher, deeply hurt, begins to cry, and Seher asks why Tai Ji was scolding her. Sarab tries to comfort Meher as she recalls the harsh words Tai Ji said to her.
