Sarab's Kids steal Dar's Stick
Daar Ji looks at his stick and says it is his life, giving strength to his feet. He has been with it for 25 years. Karan says the stick is magical, and Param wonders who massages a stick with oil. Seher says the stick will talk back.
Sarab asks if everyone is ready to go. Tai Ji wonders where Meher is and assumes she is sleeping, commenting on girls these days. Sarab, Daar Ji, Tai Ji, and the kids arrive at the temple, where the kids perform all the rituals. Seeing this, Daar Ji is pleased and blesses Sarab. He reminisces about bringing Sarab to this temple on his shoulders and recalls Sarab being a naughty but pure-hearted child.
Sarab suggests they continue their tradition of doing langar, and they all sit down to eat. Daar Ji asks about the kids, and Sarab mentions they are doing service, which Meher has taught them.
Tai Ji questions why Meher did not come herself and assumes she is sleeping at home. Sarab tries to explain, but they see Meher serving food with the kids at the temple, surprising them.
Tai Ji points out that Daar Ji said he would not eat food made by Meher. Daar Ji speculates that Meher must not have made the langar, as he cannot refuse it, and she must only be serving.
A man reveals that Meher makes the langar every weekend, and a woman praises her for being a devoted daughter-in-law who often serves, blessing her.
Meher then serves Daar Ji and Tai Ji the food she has prepared, with the kids helping as well, making Sarab smile. Daar Ji remarks that the food tastes like his Biji’s cooking, which astonishes him.
When Sarab returns home, he embraces Meher, expressing his happiness and pride. He tells her that Daar Ji kept praising her on the way home for her cooking. Meher thanks him for the compliment.
Meanwhile, Dolly talks to Tai Ji, pointing out that Sarab is always around Meher and accuses her of being clever for planning the entire service at the temple.
Daar Ji is asleep when the kids sneak in to steal his stick. Sarab expresses concern about not wanting to upset Daar Ji again and stresses the need for caution. The kids manage to break the stick and celebrate their successful mission.
However, Daar Ji wakes up and notices his stick is missing, prompting Amrit to search for it. Unable to stand, Daar Ji confronts the kids, demanding to know where the stick is.
Amrit asks what happened, but Daar Ji insists he does not like to repeat himself. Sarab and Meher are shocked by what the kids have done. Seher steps forward, offering the handle of the stick, while Karan and Param present the upper and lower parts, respectively.
The kids admit to their actions, and Meher scolds them for their disrespectful behavior. Seher explains they wanted to end Daar Ji’s powers, believing they were in the stick.
Sarab expresses disbelief at their actions, but Daar Ji surprises everyone by commending the kids for their bravery and honesty, claiming that they are his brave blood.
Daar Ji blesses Karan and acknowledges his courageous lineage. He says his Daar Ji believed in punishing mistakes, so they all must wake up at 5 AM to meet him. As Daar Ji struggles to walk, Sarab assists him to his room.
Dolly chides the kids for their early wake-up call. Meher questions Seher for stealing the stick, and Tai Ji intervenes, accusing Meher of scolding Param because he is a stepchild. Meher denies this and explains that she disciplines all the children equally. Tai Ji warns her against discriminating against Param.
Sarab clarifies that Meher is Param’s mother because she saved his life by donating a part of her liver. Tai Ji is skeptical, suggesting that Meher has bewitched Sarab, making him her slave. Dolly and Harleen seem pleased with Tai Ji putting Meher in her place.
