Param To Be Taken To Boarding School
Meher confronts Kulwant, asking why she hurt her children and if she feels any shame. Kulwant responds that she had warned Meher not to send her to jail, but Meher didn’t listen, so she ruined Meher’s motherhood. She threatens to attack again in the future.
Seher sleeps with Sarab and expresses feeling sorry for Param. Sarab asks what Seher saw, and she explains that she saw Meher saving Karan while Param was still hanging. Harleen overhears the conversation, and Sarab reassures Seher that Meher loves all her children equally.
Kulwant tells Meher that as a lioness before a mother, she plans to ruin Meher's marriage next. Meher declares that even God can’t separate her and Sarab. Harleen accuses Sarab of being blinded by his love for Meher, insisting that Param, Karan, and Seher all saw the same thing—that Meher saved Karan and not Param.
Sarab visits the temple, recalling what Param and Seher said about the incident. He reflects on how he met Meher at this temple and how she once saved Param’s life. Sarab struggles to reconcile the children’s accusations with his belief in Meher’s love and fairness. He wonders who to ask for the truth.
Harleen calls Sarab, urging him to come home because Param is not well and crying in his sleep. Meher comforts Param, who cries out in his sleep, asking Meher why she left his hands.
Sarab arrives home, and Param clings to Harleen instead of Meher. Harleen informs Sarab that Param is in shock and has a fever, blaming Sarab for ignoring Param’s distress.
Sarab takes Param from Meher, and Meher tries to reassure Param that it was just a dream. Sarab notes that he has never seen Param so scared and reminds Meher that nightmares can be deeply unsettling for children.
Meher notices that Sarab has been to the temple and questions him, but he hushes her to avoid waking Param.
Meher prepares breakfast, and Tai Ji speaks in Meher's defense, stating that Meher is a good mother, wife, and person but adds that Meher's heart may naturally lean towards Karan because he is her biological son.
Tai Ji advises Sarab to focus on Param, reminding him that while Meher sees all children as equal, blood ties matter. Sarab worries about making Param feel like a second choice and vows to take care of him.
Karan celebrates getting gulab jamun, believing his wish came true because of the coin. Meher insists that all the kids should eat together, but Karan refuses to eat with Param.
Seher reminds them that they are stronger together. Meher notices someone gave Param breakfast and asks for his previous year’s marksheet. Harleen mentions they need it for Khushi’s school. Meher questions what’s going on, but Param tells Sarab not to say anything.
Sarab pulls Meher aside and tells her that Param is hurting deeply from recent events. He explains that he has thought it over and decided to send Param to boarding school.
Meher objects, not wanting Param to be separated from his family. She feels hurt that Sarab made the decision without consulting her, breaking their usual partnership in parenting.
Sarab insists that Param wants to go, but Meher argues that he is just a child and questions why Sarab agreed without her input.
Sarab blames Meher, saying she made him this way by her actions. He believes Param wants to escape the current situation and that Khushi is already at the school, so Param will be happier there.
Seher reacts to the news, worried that Param will go to the hostel. Karan, on the other hand, feels glad, thinking that with Param gone, Meher will love him the most.
Meher tries to explain to Sarab that children need their parents, especially when they are struggling. She believes Param would be lonely at boarding school, unlike Khushi who is independent.
Sarab insists on his decision, saying Param needs distance to heal. Meher questions why Sarab refers to Param as only his son and not theirs. Sarab accuses Meher of prioritizing Karan over Param and says that the fear and pain Param experienced during those critical moments will never be forgotten. He is determined to send Param to the hostel.
Meher breaks down, trying to reason with Sarab, asking if he truly believes she could abandon Param. Sarab admits he can’t dwell on it any longer and wants Param away from the situation to prevent further issues. Meher is devastated as Sarab leaves, and Seher consoles her, asking if Param will really leave. Meher and Seher hug and cry together.
