Tai Abuses Meher, Reveals Kulwant Being In Jail

Momsi gets angry at the new cook for the soup. Harleen explains that the cook is new, and she will teach her. Sarab insists that Tai ji, being the elder, should guide her, and he wants everything done according to her preferences. Tai ji agrees, praising Sarab as a good son while secretly thinking she must do this to save his life.

Daar ji asks Bitu and Rana about their education, and they admit to finishing only 9th and 10th grade. Daar ji remarks that their faces reveal this, then asks where their mom is. They reply, saying she is in the toilet, which confuses Daar ji.

Realizing their mistake, they claim they want to use the toilet themselves. Bitu and Rana try to sneak out but encounter Tai ji, who directs them to the guestroom when they ask for the toilet. They then attempt to speak to Meher, but she ignores them. Bitu wonders how they can blackmail her to drop the case.

Meher approaches Daar ji, intending to share something important, but Tai ji interrupts by screaming. Everyone rushes to her. Tai ji claims that the family necklace has been stolen after she had it polished, and now it's missing from the box. She accuses Meher's brothers, Bitu and Rana, of stealing it since they were in her room.

Daar ji, shocked, insists that they search the house, but Meher, despite Daar ji's protests, decides to check her brothers herself. Tai ji claps sarcastically, suggesting that even their own family doesn't trust them. She accuses Meher of conspiring with her brothers to steal the necklace.

Sarab and Daar ji are outraged by the accusation, but Tai ji insists she has proof. She shows a video of Seher taking money from her purse, which she claims is evidence of theft. Meher calls Seher out, and just as she is about to slap her, Sarab intervenes.

Harleen reminds them that Seher is just a child, but Meher sternly asks Seher if she stole from Dadi's purse. Seher denies stealing, explaining that she only took the money to make things equal because Dadi had given her brothers 500 each and only 100 to her, saying boys and girls aren't equal.

Meher explains that taking anything without permission is theft and tells Seher to apologize to Dadi. Daar ji tries to downplay it, but Sarab insists Seher must apologize. Seher says sorry, but Tai ji criticizes the apology and makes a derogatory comment about Seher being born in jail and having dirty blood.

Enraged, Daar ji breaks a pot and demands Tai ji take back her words, stating she cannot insult their daughter-in-law like that. Tai ji challenges Sarab and Meher to confirm the truth about Meher’s past, including her conviction. Meher admits the truth, saying she was about to tell Daar ji. He asks Sarab if it's true, and Sarab, after some hesitation, admits it is. Daar ji is devastated, feeling betrayed by Sarab for keeping a criminal in their home.

As Tai ji continues to insult Meher, calling her disgusting and accusing her of ruining the family name, Sarab defends Meher, declaring her the greatest blessing in his life. Tai ji then reveals the truth about Meher’s mother being in jail, shocking Daar ji even more. He drops his stick in disbelief and, after Sarab's attempts to explain fail, walks away, leaving Meher in tears.

Sarab follows Daar ji outside, offering his stick and asking him to hit him if that's what he wants, but not to leave him like he did 25 years ago. Sarab recalls how he used to wait for Daar ji to return, hoping every time the door opened, it would be him. He begs Daar ji not to take away this second chance they have.

Meanwhile, Meher confronts Bitu and Rana, demanding they return the necklace, but they swear they didn’t steal it.

Inside, Tai ji demands Harleen call the police to punish Meher's brothers. Sarab, desperate for forgiveness, tries to convince Daar ji, recalling how lonely he was when everyone else left him. He asks for forgiveness for hiding the truth.

In another room, Seher cries as Param and Karan try to comfort her. She regrets taking the money, believing she wouldn’t have done it if Dadi had treated her equally.

Meanwhile, Sarab continues to plead with Daar ji, asking him to hit or scold him but not to leave him. Daar ji remains firm, saying once he makes a decision, it's final. Sarab accepts this but asks to show him something before he leaves.

Back inside, Tai ji accuses Meher of stealing the necklace herself. Meher insists she didn’t steal it and vows to punish the real thief. As the police arrive, Daar ji demands to know who called them to Gill mansion, calling it a family matter.

Meher continues searching and eventually finds the necklace on a table. She shows it to everyone, proving it wasn’t stolen. Tai ji, embarrassed, tells Meher not to reveal that she had simply misplaced it. Seher announces that the necklace has been found, and Daar ji dismisses the police.

Daar ji then apologizes to Bitu and Rana for the misunderstanding, but they feel insulted and refuse to forgive unless certain conditions are met. Daar ji walks away, leaving the situation unresolved.
