Param announces that the Nest game is over and he's back. Sarab inquires about what he missed the most, to which Param replies that he didn't miss anything because Papa, Mama, and Karan were with him. Sarab receives a call and steps out, while Meher also gets a call.
The caller, Vikram Dewan, shares both good and bad news with Meher. He informs her about a 3 billion scam in Goa and his subsequent posting there. Vikram expresses his desire to bid farewell to everyone and speaks to Sarab briefly before leaving for his flight.
Meher expresses regret that Vikram couldn't meet them before leaving, but Vikram philosophizes that one must move forward without looking back. He expresses gratitude for the lessons he learned from Sarab, Param, Karan, and Meher, and bids them farewell, expressing his newfound love for Aditi, who reciprocates his feelings. Meher observes Sarab's strange behavior.
Sarab rushes to the office for a meeting, leaving Meher worried. Arti appears outside, and the watchman informs Meher about her presence. Meher invites Arti in and reassures her safety. Arti reveals that she is being harmed by Tarkash, her husband, who works closely with Sarab.
Meher is shocked but promises to help Arti. Arti describes the abuse she endures, and Meher assures her that Sarab will take action once he finds out. However, when Meher encounters Tarkash, he appears normal, and Meher realizes that Arti has left.
Meher calls Sarab, who reassures her and reminds her to take her medication. Meher recalls Arti's bruises and mentions Tarkash to Sarab, who asks if she gave him the file. Meher confirms and informs Sarab that Arti left abruptly. Sarab says he has a meeting and promises to call back later.
In another scene, Param shows Meher a card from Bua, inviting Nani for the New Year party. Meher and Param plan to visit Nani's place for lunch. Meanwhile, Kulwant decides to give Meher a locket, which Ginni admires.
When Meher arrives with the kids, Kulwant hugs her and presents her with the locket, explaining its significance. Meher insists that Amrita wears it instead, recalling Kulwant's advice for her to wear artificial jewelry only.
Kulwant reveals that the locket was meant for Meher's shagun, but Meher insists that Amrita keeps it, emphasizing her happiness over material possessions. Kulwant admires Meher's selflessness and hugs her, acknowledging their bond.
Meher and Param enjoy lunch with the family. Param compliments Amrita on how good the necklace looks on her, while Yuvi suggests it could fetch a good price if sold.
Kulwant jokingly scolds Yuvi and tends to Amrita, who has burned her hand. Jagga applies cream to her hand, and Meher, reminded of Arti's pain, becomes tense. Sarab calls, prompting Meher to hastily leave the table. She hugs everyone and rushes out, requesting Jagga to drop the kids home.
Arriving at Sarab's office, Meher receives a gift from him and expresses gratitude. Sarab assumes Meher came to surprise him, but she appears troubled. He offers her water and asks what's on her mind.
Meher, recalling Arti's suffering, trembles and questions Sarab about the dynamics of a husband-wife relationship. Sarab assures her that in a healthy relationship, physical violence should never occur.
Meher discloses Arti's plight, mentioning Tarkash as the perpetrator. Sarab is shocked, but Meher insists on taking action to help Arti, whose life she believes is in danger.
In another scene, Arti's daughter hides an anklet upon Tarkash's arrival, fearing his reaction. Tarkash confronts Arti, who denies any wrongdoing. Meher interjects, trying to protect Arti, but Tarkash dismisses her concerns.
Meher insists that Tarkash's behavior is unacceptable, but Sarab defends him, citing their love marriage and Tarkash's alleged loyalty. Meher vows to gather evidence, but Sarab remains unconvinced, insisting it's a family matter. Meanwhile, Tarkash continues to abuse Arti, leaving her and the girl in distress.
Later, Kulwant demands the necklace back from Amrita, accusing her of treachery. Amidst the confrontation, Meher arrives at Tarkash's house and witnesses the aftermath of his violence.
She questions him, but Tarkash brushes off her suspicions. Meher uses the opportunity to discreetly inquire about Arti's whereabouts from the girl. She then contacts Sarab, who is alarmed to learn her location but remains skeptical of her actions.
