Choti Sarrdarni Written Update for Saturday April 20, 2024

The constable arrives and announces the release of the kids due to an order received. Sarab embraces Param, overcome with emotion, and expresses gratitude to Meher for answered prayers.

Aditi fumes at the news of the kids' release, but the inspector explains that the mastermind behind the thefts, a woman who confessed, will face punishment instead. Sarab, taken aback, enters and learns from the constable that Meher was involved in the thefts, leading to her confinement in jail. Param questions why Meher is locked up, while Sarab vows to prevent her imprisonment.

Meanwhile, orphaned children are mistreated and threatened by thugs. Sarab encounters Montu attempting to coerce Param into joining them, leading to a confrontation. Montu reveals the danger faced by his siblings and pleads for Param's help. Sarab intervenes, demanding answers from the thugs, and engages in a physical altercation to protect Param and the other children.

In another part of the city, Vikram wakes up disoriented, while Harleen anxiously awaits news of Meher and Sarab's whereabouts. Manav struggles with dizziness and discovers a wound beside him, expressing frustration by breaking a cup.

Back at Sarab's house, Montu seeks Param's assistance, citing a threat to his siblings. Sarab intervenes, and Montu explains the dire situation orchestrated by a criminal named Ganja. Determined to rescue Meher, Sarab confronts Ganja, offering him a chance to surrender peacefully.

Meanwhile, Meher anxiously awaits Sarab's arrival at the police station, hoping for his intervention before her transfer to Amritsar jail. Sarab challenges Ganja to a confrontation, but despite his efforts, Ganja remains unscathed, leaving Sarab with limited time to save Meher before her imminent transfer.

Param asserts that Gill papa will defeat Ganja. The children collectively restrain Ganja and tie him up with a rope. Meanwhile, Sarab confronts the other thugs, although his back is in pain. As the van approaches, Meher anxiously wonders about Sarab's whereabouts. Ganja grabs Sarab, prompting a fierce reaction from Sarab, who defends his child. Param cries as he watches Sarab engage in a physical altercation with Ganja, who strikes Sarab on the head.

Elsewhere, Rana suggests to Kulwant that Meher and Sarab might be in the shed, but Kulwant dismisses the idea, believing that they wouldn't live in such a small space. Upon noticing Meher's dupatta outside, Kulwant confirms its identity, and Harleen is called for verification.

Meher is about to be taken away in the van when the children arrive with Ganja tied up. Sarab recalls their previous encounter and accuses Ganja of orchestrating the thefts. The children corroborate Sarab's claims, stating that Ganja forced them to steal and threatened to harm them. The inspector questions Ganja, who admits to his wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Vikram confronts Aditi for giving him sleeping pills, vowing not to succumb to her manipulations anymore.

As Meher is released from the van, she embraces Param and Sarab while the children celebrate their victory. Param recounts how his papa defeated the bad uncle, prompting Meher to hug him. The children rejoice with dancing and clapping.

In another scene, Kulwant arrives at the house, lamenting the dire conditions and blaming herself for Meher's suffering. Manav consoles her, attributing Meher's predicament to her own actions.

Later, the children accompany Sarab to the temple, where they assist in serving food to the needy. Sarab expresses gratitude towards God, hoping for an end to their troubles. However, their reunion is interrupted by a woman with a hidden face, who addresses Meher.

Tarkash suddenly appears, serving food, and is shocked to see Meher and Sarab. Sarab welcomes Tarkash, expressing a desire for his assistance in sending the children to a good school with NGO funds. Tarkash, overcome with emotion, expresses concern for their well-being and insists on helping them, but demands to know where they are currently residing.
