The principal says Harleen tries to bribe our teacher. The teacher confirms it and mentions that Param's stepmother neglects him. The principal announces that they've decided to rusticate Param.
Amrita asks Meher what happened, but Meher leaves in shock. Yuvi informs everyone that Param fell asleep during the exam and will be expelled.
Param plays video games with Harleen and Meher. He complains of blurred vision. Meher turns off the TV, apologizes, and says he can do as he pleases. She suggests he confess about sleeping during the exam and advises Harleen to tell the truth instead of bribing.
Despite Harleen's reassurance, Meher refuses to intervene and leaves the room. Param apologizes tearfully to his mother, Meher, who remains silent in her room. Sarab questions Harleen about bribing the teacher, and she promises to speak with the principal. Sarab insists he'll handle it.
Param pleads with Meher to forgive him, promising never to lie again. Sarab suggests Param talk to his aunt while he speaks with Meher. Meher appeals to the principal to reconsider, citing Param's record.
