The bus is stopped by the police, who accuse Meher of abducting Karan. Meher says she was taking him home. They take Karan and ask where he is from. Karan says, "Amritsar."
Meher is confused and says, "But you said your house is in Delhi. I was taking you there." The inspector accuses her of kidnapping. Meher insists it's a misunderstanding. They arrest her and take Meher and Karan to the police station.
Sarab cries at the guesthouse. His phone rings. The inspector says they found his son and arrested the kidnapper. Sarab is shocked and says he is coming. Seher brings him tea. Sarab caresses her face and says her mama must be a good person. He leaves.
Ginni comes to Robbie’s place, saying she came hiding from mummy ji. Harleen suspects Kulwant sent her. Ginni claims she thinks about her family and says Kulwant doesn't let her visit. Harleen is wary but agrees to let Ginni stay for lunch. Ginni hugs Harleen and asks where Sarab, Param, and Karan are.
The inspector tells Meher her statements are false and that Karan’s name is not Rahul. Meher asks them to ask Karan. She insists she was taking him home, not abducting him. The inspector threatens to check her record. Meher recalls her case and insists she didn't kidnap him.
Karan states his name is Karanjit Singh Gill. Meher is shocked and stands up. Karan says he lives in Punjab, and his father's name is Sarabjit Singh Gill.
Meher cries and recalls her moments with Karan, including saying she would find her son in a crowd. The inspector offers Karan chocolates. Meher cries as they take her outside and Karan to another room. They lock Meher up and inform her that Sarabjit will arrive soon.
Sarab calls Harleen on the way and tells her Karan is found. Harleen thanks God and tells him to take care and come back home with Karan.
Ginni asks Robbie where Param lives in London. He says with his grandparents on Churchill Road. She gets the address. Harleen enters and says Sarab was worried about Karan, but he is finally found. Ginni coughs. Robbie asks what happened. She says nothing and asks if Karan is okay. Harleen confirms he is.
Sarab arrives at the police station. As he steps out of the car, Meher sees him and imagines calling his name, caressing his face, and hugging him. She imagines Sarab standing there frozen and recalling every time she hugged him.
In reality, Sarab stands in front of her but doesn’t see her. Karan calls out, "Papa." Sarab turns back and finally looks at Meher.
Meher looks at Sarab and hides her face, recalling asking him to tell her kids she died. Karan says, "Papa," and hugs Sarab, who hugs him back. The inspector says, "That's Seerat. We found Karan with her. She was calling him Rahul and was taking him to Delhi to his family. All her statements are fake."
Karan admits, "Sorry, Papa, I made those stories." The inspector says they will charge her with kidnapping, but Sarab intervenes, saying, "No, leave her." He looks at Meher, whose face is hidden, and says, "The woman who gave such good manners to her daughter can’t be a kidnapper. My son makes up stories all the time."
Sarab introduces himself, saying, "Hi, I am Sarab. I met your daughter. She is beautiful. If I had a daughter, she would be like her." Meher introduces herself as Seerat. Meher picks up his handkerchief. Sarab says, "Seerat ji, please forgive us. You saved my Karan. My wife said you just need to hold one end, the other gets in your hand itself."
Ginni tells Kulwant that Karan is found. Kulwant hits Bitu and Rana, then locks herself in a room and hits herself with a belt. Bitu and Rana apologize.
Sarab asks Karan to hug Meher and apologize. Meher cries while hugging him. Sarab says, "I am sorry. Can I drop you home? Seher said she made tea for me, but I couldn't drink it because I had to come here."
Karan says, "Let's go." He adds, "I also have to speak to Seher. I said bye. I will tell her I will see you again. My Param brother says not to say bye." Meher offers, "You can be our guest." Karan asks, "Aunty, why are you hiding your face now?" Sarab says, "It’s okay. Show your pretty face to Papa." Sarab tells Karan, "No."
Meher sits. Karan says, "No one sits in the front seat. Param told me only Meher ma would sit in front. Param spent so much time with Mama. When will I get lucky?"
Sarab fastens Meher’s seatbelt and plays the radio. The host wishes everyone a happy Valentine’s Day. Sarab says, "Happy Valentine’s, Meher." Meher responds, "Happy Valentine’s, Sarab." Sarab reminisces, "My wife used to talk so much."
Kaul’s mom says, "Do you stay this silent in court as well? Why don’t you confess? Because of you, I earned 2k. I bet with my friends that if you are not at home or court, you’d be at Seerat’s place, and you proved me right." He explains, "Seher was alone." She remarks, "You care for Seher like a father. Don’t delay it.
Tell Seerat you want to marry her. Why do you get silent? You keep looking at the ring. Today is Valentine’s Day. Tell her." He agrees, "I will tell her when she’s back. I held off because I thought her husband might come back. I felt so bad when I made her sit on the bus. I will surprise her when she’s back."
Seher says, "I also want a surprise." He asks, "What do you want the most?" She replies, "My papa." He says, "If my plan works for your mom, your surprise will be given as well."
Karan asks, "Should I tell another story?" Sarab replies, "No, please." He comments, "Karan talks too much like his mom. But she was amazing. She was bold and brave. She always took care of me and everyone."
Meher thinks to herself, "I am a one-woman army." Sarab asks, "Who else is in your family?" Karan answers, "Papa, Seerat aunty’s husband isn’t with her. Seher doesn’t have a papa." Sarab says, "I don’t know where Meher ji is. I will find her wherever she is." They both recall their moments with each other.
