Meanwhile, Jagga arrives at Meher's house inebriated, declaring his intention to take Kulwant home. Meher tries to calm him down, but he breaks down, lamenting his failures as a husband, son, and father.
He expresses remorse for failing to reconcile with his son and wife and for his inability to bring them back. Meher consoles him, assuring him that it's not his fault, and they share a hug.
Meher then reassures Jagga that they all love him and encourages him to take Kulwant and Amrita back home. She paints a picture of them all singing and enjoying together on the rooftop. Sarab observes their interaction silently.
