Meher, on the run, contemplates her next move, realizing she needs to call India but lacks the means to do so. She remembers a phone number she taught Param through a poem. Despite her attempts to ask for help and a phone, no one assists her, and she spots the pursuing goons.
The woman provides Meher with money and instructs her to make a call from there. Grateful, Meher thanks her and offers to help with her luggage. After assisting the woman, Meher is given some money in return. She hurries to a telephone booth, but before making the call, Meher notices food and decides to eat, thinking about her child.
Meanwhile, the lawyer expresses concerns about Sarab's tarnished reputation, as Kulwant has garnered public sympathy. Harleen is determined to bring her brother back at any cost.
The lawyer questions why Sarab purchased the house, and Dolly suggests that Meher may have had an affair, and Sarab, with his kind heart, provided them with a house. Harleen dismisses these speculations and insists on not letting Meher's reputation be defamed.
However, the lawyer suggests that they may need to prove in court that Meher fled and had an affair, implicating Sarab in the process. Despite her reservations, Harleen reluctantly agrees to proceed with the case, driven by her desire to reunite with her brother.
Sarab hears Param's cries and embraces him. Param is in tears and begins asking questions, wondering why the police arrested his father and why someone threw ink at him. He also inquires about the whereabouts of Meher and when Sarab will return home.
In response, Sarab reassures Param, telling him they're playing a big game, essentially a game of hide and seek. Param expresses his inability to sleep without both his parents, so Sarab comforts him, letting him sleep in his lap.
Harleen and Jolly join them, and Harleen suggests that Sarab should answer Param's questions to ease his suffering. Sarab, however, advises against bringing Param to such a place again. Jolly notes that not everyone can handle him like Meher. Harleen mentions that they've prepared some papers with Mr. Jetly to secure Sarab's release, urging him to sign them.
In another scene, Meher faces danger as goons shoot in her direction. She hides and uses a slingshot to defend herself. When an officer arrives, Meher admits to her actions and requests arrest to facilitate her deportation.
Back with Sarab, Jetly presents a paper alleging that Meher had an affair with someone. Sarab reacts strongly, physically confronting Jetly for making such claims about Meher. Harleen explains that they have no other option. Sarab vehemently denies any wrongdoing, and Rovi expresses relief that he didn't sign the papers.
Sarab implores Harleen to meet Meher's mother and apologize on his behalf, but Harleen is hesitant due to her negative perception of Meher's mother.
In another scene, Meher encounters a Punjabi officer who questions her lack of passport and visa and how she arrived in Serbia. Meher pleads with him to let her go to India, emphasizing her urgency to save someone.
Meanwhile, Param sits with his hand on his heart, talking to Meher in his own way, following her advice to connect with someone you miss. He expresses his longing for both of his parents.
The Punjabi officer, showing sympathy, agrees to help Meher with her travel arrangements, preparing her documents and a flight within two hours.
Meher's funeral takes place, and attendees express their sorrow and anger toward Sarab. Harleen arrives with Param.
Param questions why there's a garland on Meher mama's photo, and Kulwant sternly warns him not to touch it, accusing his father of killing her. Param pleads with his nani not to say such things, but Kulwant insists she's not his nani anymore and severs ties with Meher.
Harleen defends Sarab, stating he could never commit such an act, but Kulwant questions if Harleen is there to mock them and challenges her to imagine Sarab doing it.
She firmly labels Sarab as a murderer and vows to seek the death penalty for him, dismissing Harleen's emotional response as insincere. Rovi intervenes, requesting respectful dialogue, but Kulwant orders them to leave. Yuvi adds his demand for them to depart as well.
