Sarab is questioned by the inspector about his wife Meher's death. He cannot use his wealth or power to escape scrutiny. When asked for a last wish, Sarab requests to see his son Param, who is emotional about his mother's absence. Pam, however, silences Param and locks him in a room, causing him to cry and yearn for his mother.
Sarab is under torture. The police attempt to pressure Sarab into revealing the reason behind Meher's death by increasing the cold in the room where he's held. This leads to Sarab feeling cold. Param and Meher are also distressed in their respective locations.
Dolly contacts Jolly to inquire about a mail related to Sarab, and tensions rise as they discuss Pam and Param's situation. Dolly contemplates getting Param deported to India, suspecting Meher of some wrongdoing and accusing Sarab of covering it up.
In another scene, Amrita, Bitu, and Jagga react to Sarab's arrest. Bitu accuses Sarab of killing Meher and blaming Kulwant for her death. Kulwant vows to seek justice for Meher and expose Sarab.
A lawyer visits Sarab. Meher discovers the news of Sarab's arrest and is shocked. She recalls Sarab's promise to keep a secret. Shortly, she is taken by goons who threaten her.
Sarab returns to India, facing protests and media attention, with people demanding to know the cause of his arrest. Param desperately wants to reach his father, but Sarab is taken away, leaving them both in tears. Harleen tries to console Param. The police take Sarab into custody. Meher is captured by the goons who threaten her life.
As Sarab faces questions in remand, Harleen pleads with him for the truth, suspecting that Meher is still alive. Sarab, torn by his promise, tells her that Meher has died. Harleen, heartbroken, insists on being part of his life and getting to the bottom of the situation.
Rovi continues his sinister plans, preparing to harm Meher. Meanwhile, Bitu and Yuvi contemplate revenge against Sarab, as Kulwant vows to seek justice for Meher.
Meher attempts to free herself, determined to protect Sarab from harm.
