Ginni inquires about the scar on Vikram's back, and Kulwant reveals that it was from a stab wound.
Vikram questions the revelation, and Aditi explains that they met when he was shot and came to the hospital. Kulwant asks who shot him, and Vikram humorously claims it was her. Aditi dismisses it, calling him a joking criminal.
Seema, witnessing Vikram's emotional moment, questions his emotional state. He responds, asking if officers can't be emotional. Surya expresses how their love for each other brings him joy, and Seema wipes away her tears.
At home, Param informs Meher about Uncle asking for her signature. Harleen questions the need for a signature, and Sarab reveals it's for an account in Serbia.
Param proudly reads "Serbia" from the paper, and Sarab praises his smart son. They discuss the hypothetical situation of parents being away for different durations, with Param expressing his need for them.
In the next scene, everyone enjoys dancing during the haldi ceremony. Meher nearly falls, but Sarab catches her. Playfully, Meher blames Sarab for her almost-fall, and he teasingly remarks about being the scapegoat for everything. Meher confesses that she can't imagine her life without Sarab.
Vikram and his family join the celebration, bringing mehndi for Meher. Vikram mentions that Manav will arrive by morning and wishes to talk to Kulwant first. Kulwant appears concerned. Meher applies mehndi to Aditi's hands.
Vikram receives a call, assuring someone that the scam case is resolved, but one case leads to another. Sarab intervenes, lightening the mood by mentioning Mr. Dewan's penchant for jokes.
Param suggests Meher Bua apply mehndi to her hands, and Amrita, after applying it, asks if she should write Sarab's name. Meher agrees, showing her mehndi to Sarab. Seema suggests playing a game, and Param proposes hide and seek, but Seema introduces the chunri wala game.
Blindfolded husbands must find their wives under the chunri and make them wear a necklace. Rana volunteers to go first, and Vikram wishes him luck, while Sarab teases Mr. Dewan about needing luck only when there's a chance of losing.
Vikram approaches a bride, and Sarab asserts that it's his love and wife, Meher ji. Vikram appreciates Sarab's confidence but claims he can't be wrong in identifying his love.
They both unveil the chunri from a girl, revealing Meher. The crowd applauds Sarab, and Meher smiles at him. Vikram acknowledges his mistake and gives the necklace to Sarab.
Aditi angrily removes her chunri, and Vikram remarks that she couldn't identify him. He adds that eyes can deceive, but Sarab insists that love is recognized from the heart.
Meher confidently states that she knew Sarab would recognize her, and Sarab playfully mentions she was the "fattest." Meher leaves in a huff, and Sarab resolves to express his feelings.
In the next scene, the sangeet begins, with Meher dancing with Sarab. Vikram observes them, and Bitu and Rana join the dance. Param also dances with Sarab, and even Kulwant joins the celebration.
Vikram, near Kulwant, receives a call discussing bringing Manav and mentions a car number. Rana expresses surprise at Vikram's ability to find Manav.
Vikram instructs them to take Manav's statement, alleging that he took 2 crores from Kulwant, and he intends to send the culprits to jail.
Meher and Sarab continue to dance with Aditi. Sarab and Meher dance to "Phir Se Khuda," and Vikram and Aditi join them on the dance floor, earning applause from everyone.
Sarab, contemplating the future, mentions that there will be no more freedom, only prison. He implies that it's the most important day, marking a lifetime imprisonment. Meher adds that the next day is crucial for everyone.
