Choti Sarrdaarni Saturday, September 2, 2023 Episode Summary:
Bitu and Rana are enjoying their drinks, and Bitu expresses a sense of inner peace he hasn't felt in a while. He shares the news that Mummy ji is finally meeting Jitto's family. However, Rana's inappropriate behavior toward some girls leads Bitu to remind him to apologize, acknowledging that those girls are someone's family.
Meanwhile, Kulwant discusses her son Yuvi's love for laddu and inquires about why he's crying, to which Yuvi mentions Meher's upcoming departure. Kulwant reassures him that Meher will be away for only a week and plans to get a shawl for her. Amrita wonders if they might be running late, but Kulwant assures her they'll go after Param falls asleep, as he remains unaware of their plans.
Soon after, policemen approach Rana, questioning him about his drinking in broad daylight on the road and requesting his license. Meher tends to Param, who expresses his difficulty in sleeping without her.
Unexpectedly, an inspector inquires about Param, leading Yuvi to identify himself. A tense exchange unfolds between Yuvi and the inspector, who eventually involves Kulwant in the matter. Learning that her sons are in jail for their behavior and drinking and driving, Kulwant expresses her shame and presents her ID to confirm her relationship with Sarab.
The inspector, acknowledging Kulwant as Sarab's mother-in-law, allows her to sit and expresses his hope for her to inform Sarab about his performance. Bitu and Rana receive a scolding from Kulwant for tarnishing the family's reputation in front of Sarab.
Kulwant contacts Sarab, who is preparing to leave for a trip. She informs him about Meher's fear of flying and assures him that she will manage his office and other matters in his absence.
Sarab instructs his personal assistant to load everything into the car, including numerous bags for his friends. Meher, overwhelmed with emotion, reflects on her journey, thanking Sarab for helping her rebuild her life. Sarab enters the room and tells her that her family is waiting downstairs, and they must leave soon. Meher, with tears in her eyes, bids a heartfelt farewell to Param, kissing his face before departing.
Meher and Param are departing, and Sarab informs them that everyone is waiting downstairs to greet them. Meher leaves Param and heads downstairs. Sarab gazes at Param and remarks, "Crying for a few days is better than crying for a lifetime."
Kulwant suggests that the world is vast and worth exploring. Harleen adds, "Yes, we're headed to South Africa. Where are you off to, Yuvi?" Yuvi responds, "I'm going to jail." His grandmother comments, "Brave kids fail, and brave boys end up in jail." Jagga apologizes, saying, "Sorry, he's just a child."
Yuvi inquires about Param and wonders if he's scared of him. Harleen reassures him, saying that Param would inquire about their whereabouts. Kulwant questions what Param would do there, as children aren't typically taken on honeymoons. Preeti offers to bring them tea, while Rovi suggests snacks for everyone. Kulwant recalls a recent visit to Meher and Sarab's place and reassures them that Sarab needn't worry about anything.
Kulwant surprises Rovi with a gift, which turns out to be a camera. Harleen is puzzled, asking if it's a spy camera and why Rovi would need it. Kulwant playfully suggests that Rovi looks like a spy and advises him to use it everywhere. Yuvi proposes a game with Rovi, where he asks for money to keep a secret about Meher's locker. Rovi reluctantly gives in and expresses his frustration about their manipulative behavior, feeling compelled to take action.
