The event is set and ready. Khushi says, "She is my Ginny bua from Canada." A woman enters the scene, and Ginny introduces her, saying, "This house is like a palace." Rovi asks his mom, "What is she saying?" Rovi's mother greets Khushi and expresses her happiness at seeing her. She also meets Ginny, and Ginny rushes over to hug Khushi.
She adds, "Rahul.. Never do anything that ruins Yashvardan Raichand's name." Khushi responds, "Bua, what are you saying?" To which her bua replies, "Haven't you seen Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? He landed in a helicopter. Then he ran to Jaya ji."
In another scene, Meher is selecting the color for Param's turban. Harleen interjects and disagrees, saying, "Absolutely no. I am Param's bua; you didn't even show me the turban?
How did you even decide my Param would wear such a cheap color?" She selects the color yellow and announces, "Param would wear this one." Meher tries to explain that Param doesn't like this color, but Harleen asserts her authority, saying, "I decide what happens in this house. Bua does dastaar bandi.
Got it? Keep one thing in mind, don't interfere in our family matters and traditions."
Ginny arrives, and Harleen, while trying to behave normally in front of her mother and sister, introduces Meher to them. She playfully refers to Ginny as their "little joker" and formally introduces her to Sarab's wife, Meher. Harleen praises her own ruling presence in the house and mentions that Sarab doesn't make decisions without consulting her.
Meanwhile, Param is excited about Lohri and requests everyone for it. Sarab explains that they will celebrate Lohri in the evening and that the current event is for Param's dastaar bandi. Meher expresses her happiness, and Sarab notes that they have three reasons to celebrate: the dastaar bandi, Lohri, and the baby's first kick. Param asks, "Will I be a big boy?"
Meher reassures him, saying, "Always stay happy, my big." Someone showers petals on them, and Sarab lovingly removes them from Meher's hair. They all share smiles and hugs.
In another part of the story, preparations are being made for a celebration. Kulwant instructs Amrita and Jitto to get ready. Yuvi, however, refuses to go with them, fearing that they will end up arguing again. Rana teases him for being scared, and Yuvi retorts that Rana would be just as scared of his wife.
Bitu encourages Jitto to join him on his bike, and Jitto is relieved not to go with the others, stating, "I am glad you got the bike; otherwise, I would have to go with them." Kulwant acknowledges the success of her "divide and rule" strategy.
In another scene, Meher talks to Harleen about the refreshments and suggests adding fruits and gold coins. Harleen responds indifferently, "You can decide it on your own." Ginny praises Meher's influence in the house, and her mother-in-law expresses surprise that Harleen still maintains authority despite Meher's presence.
Meher acknowledges Harleen's importance, and her mother-in-law says to Rovi, "Your wife is a ruler. Find rich people for your sister too." Rovi responds, "That's why I called you here." Dolly joins the conversation as well.
Kulwant confronts Dolly with two cards and questions her about not including her family's name in the invitation cards. Meanwhile, Param and Yuvi share their experiences with Meher mama getting them ready and discuss how Param will become a "super sardar" after his dastaar bandi.
Kulwant proudly displayed the card to Harleen and asked her to read it. As Harleen read the card with information about the RSVP, she noticed that neither Meher's nor her own name were included. Harleen pointed out this omission, asking why Meher's name wasn't mentioned.
In response, Kulwant firmly declared that Meher was Param's mother and had her place in the house. She then revealed that Sarab had taken it upon himself to change the cards to include Meher's and her names. Harleen's expression turned sour as she realized that Sarab had taken this step to honor Meher.
Ginni and Rana found themselves captivated by each other's company while Meher approached them. Amrita offered her congratulations, and Preeto handed Meher an envelope.
Param engaged in a conversation with Yuvi, who bragged about his superpowers. Yuvi claimed that Meher even helped him tie his turban.
The dastarbandi ceremony began with Meher and Harleen. When it was time to tie the turban, Param surprised everyone by insisting that Meher should do it. Harleen, offering her love, stepped forward to perform the task, but Param continued to insist that only Meher should tie the turban, causing Harleen to feel hurt. Ultimately, Harleen withdrew, and Meher followed her. Param, upset, left the ceremony.
Harleen was deeply affected by Param's words and actions. She overheard a conversation between Kulwant and Dolly, discussing the need to respect the tradition and ensure Meher's participation in the ceremony. Harleen was left to ponder who might have influenced Param to prefer Meher.
Param sought comfort with Meher, expressing his doubts about her love for him. Sarab, hearing the commotion, also joined them. Meher reassured Param, explaining that her intention in tying Yuvi's turban was to make him a "super sardar." To regain her trust, Param needed to apologize to Harleen. Param agreed and hugged Meher.
When Param approached Harleen to apologize, she responded coldly and asked him to leave. Param, with Meher's guidance, offered his sincere apology, begging Harleen to join him and tie his turban. However, Harleen was left pondering the circumstances, especially with Dolly's words in mind, and felt that Meher's actions were meant to humiliate her.
Harleen reluctantly agreed to tie Param's turban. The ceremony continued with everyone watching, and Param touched Harleen's feet to show respect. Sarab wiped away his tears, proud of his son's gesture.
Afterward, everyone celebrated Lohri, dancing and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Sarab expressed his gratitude for Meher and thanked her for her role in the family.
He gifted her an anklet, a symbolic alarm, joking about her tendency to surprise them by appearing when they were watching their favorite show. Meher responded with a heartfelt promise of love and support.
When it was Meher's turn to give a gift, she offered Sarab a promise: her unwavering support in all aspects of life. Sarab asked for a promise in return, emphasizing that her support should transcend this lifetime and extend into all their future lives. Meher took his hand, promising to be by his side.
The celebration continued with dancing, as Rana, Bitu, and Sarab joined in the lively festivities. Women danced against men, and even Param joined the male group. Everyone reveled in the joyful occasion.
Meher, after the celebration, went to check on Param, who was in the restroom. She reminded him to wash his hands, and he pointed out that he had forgotten to flush as well. Meher agreed to help, but she noticed blood in the toilet and was deeply shocked.
