Choti Sarrdaarni Written Update for Tuesday Oct 3 2023
Kulwant expresses her intention to distribute sweets once the child is born without any complications. Harleen enters, and Kulwant warmly welcomes her, even asking for refreshments. Harleen declines the offer, stating that they've already done enough for her. She accuses Kulwant and the family of making a mistake by arranging Sarab's marriage to Meher.
Harleen asserts that they were aware of the truth but deceived them. Kulwant appears baffled and asks what she means. Harleen drops the bombshell that Meher is pregnant with someone else's child, conceived before her wedding to Sarab. Rana discreetly sends Jitto away so that he doesn't overhear the conversation.
Kulwant vehemently denies the accusation, claiming that Meher is carrying Sarab's child. Harleen then presents pregnancy reports that indicate Meher has been pregnant for three weeks, which contradicts their wedding date of two months ago.
Kulwant defends Meher, questioning why she would rush their wedding if she was already pregnant. Harleen questions if they were unaware of the situation, to which Kulwant responds that there was no such situation. She chastises her sons for believing Harleen's allegations. Harleen departs, still in shock.
Kulwant accuses Harleen of plotting to gain control of Sarab's wealth and suggests that she and Rovi may have orchestrated the Serbia incident for this purpose. Harleen denies these allegations. Kulwant advises her to go to Canada and leave her daughter, Simran, and Sarab to live their lives. Harleen storms out in anger.
In another scene, Sarab encourages Meher to eat, but she expresses concern about whether Harleen has eaten. Meher decides to bring food to Harleen's room. There, Meher talks to Harleen about her past and suggests that they should move forward and leave the past behind after marriage.
Harleen, however, insists that Meher should abort the child, offering forgiveness in return. Meher firmly refuses and declares that she won't abort her child or leave Sarab. Harleen then reminds Meher of her promise to grant her anything she asks for and presents her with an ultimatum: either get an abortion within 10 days or leave Sarab.
Meher emerges from her room in a state of shock, recalling Harleen's words. Memories of her time with Sarab and Param flood her mind. She predicts, "In 10 days, your heart and decision will change."
Meher gazes at Param and Sarab engaged in conversation. Sarab credits his knowledge to "Meher mama." Kulwant enters the scene, revealing that Harleen's report is fake and apologizing for the misunderstanding. Sarab reassures her, asserting his confidence in being the child's father, regardless of any reports. Kulwant leaves, touched by his words.
Sarab confronts Harleen, expressing his disappointment that she went to Meher's house against his wishes. Harleen seeks guidance on what to do next and questions whether the child will inherit everything. Sarab affirms the child's rights, causing Harleen to regret her actions.
In another scene, Meher reminisces about breakfast prepared by Harleen and a mysterious chit counting down nine days. Sarab notices her concern and reads the note. Meher is then forbidden from cooking by Harleen. Sarab and Meher plan to go out, but Harleen remains firm in her decision, demanding that Meher abort the child or leave the house.
In a separate storyline, Yuvi cheats on a test and is reprimanded by his teacher. Param proudly announces his improved grades, crediting Meher for his success. Harleen questions Param about honesty, and Param recalls Meher's teachings about honesty before Harleen exits.
