Tarkash informs Sarab about Meher's parcel which just arrived... Sarab himself is so worried of a trouble looming on him after Meher have withdrawn huge amount of money from her account.
Meher enters the officer's office and asks, "Why did you call me here?" She questions, "Don't you know?" Meher replies, "Why would I?" The officer informs her, "You would be charged for the scam you have committed. Your husband issued 25 Millions to you. You deposited it into your account and then withdrew it. Meher asks, "Where would I keep that cash?" Sarab's PA calls him and says, "Meher isn't home. There are parcels for her."
The officer shows Meher the activity of her account and says, "Here are your transactions." Sarab is an influential politician and might have done this to evade taxes. "If you don't provide a written clarification within 2 days, you will be jailed," the officer warns. Meher leaves.
The officer calls Sarab and says, "You transferred 25M to your wife's account. You have to come to our office for an interrogation." Sarab becomes angry and exclaims, "This is the first time I am being called by a government office for interrogation. Wow, Meher." Sarab calls his PA. Sarab prepares for the interrogation.
His PA reassures him, "Sir, don't worry. I will handle all of this." Sarab collides with Meher and she questions, "You were in your room for 4 hours. What were you doing?" He responds, "Working. What does it matter to you?" Meher remarks, "You're saying it as if you work for me." In his mind, Sarab thinks, "Wow, she is acting like she doesn't know anything. I will answer all of this." Meher persists, "I asked something." Sarab replies, "I am not in the mood." She retorts, "You can listen." Sarab claims, "My head hurts." Eventually, Meher says, "I don't want to tell now."
Amrita tells Jagga, "You don't speak up when you need to. Bitu's life is being ruined." She recalls, "Do you remember what happened to Meher?" Jagga responds, "Meher loved Mana." Amrita argues, "Bitu and Jitu love each other as well. Why don't you ever speak against your mom? You always take her side even when she is wrong." Jagga defends, "She does things for our good." Amrita counters, "Like she got Yuvi's name cut from his school, right? You never see anything wrong in what she does." Jagga is about to slap her when Yuvi intervenes.
Yuvi video calls Param and shows off his car. Param says, "Let me show you my car." Yuvi corrects, "This is a toy truck." Yuvi sits in his real car and boasts, "I can turn it on too." He gets scared and runs away from the car.
Sarab complains to Meher, the cook, "Why is there so much spice in everything?" Meher defends, "Food has fewer spices but really nice taste. Maybe Sarab has blisters. When you speak bitter things, you get blisters." She instructs Param, "You eat from your own plate only."
Sarab eats from Meher's plate and Preeti exclaims, "You two are eating from the same plate? May God increase your love." Meher had added spices to his plate. The maid informs, "Meher, you had some parcels. Your room was locked, so they are in the store." Sarab thinks, "You hide things when you are doing something wrong."
Yuvi asks, "Mama, when will papa come? It's late night." Jagga arrives home drunk, and Amrita questions him, "How much did you drink?" He replies, "Get me food." Kulwant criticizes, "She is your wife, not your servant. Talk to her politely." She adds, "And Amrita, he doesn't come home drunk every day." Jagga requests food, and Kulwant emphasizes, "You will always have food to eat until your mom is alive.
This is the difference between mom and wife." Jagga acknowledges, "A mother who cooks at this hour for her kids can't ever think bad for them." Yuvi calls Sarab and asks, "When will papa come? It's late night." He tells Sarab about Bua not coming and requests him to bring Bua and Param. Sarab apologizes, "I am sorry, I have to go somewhere else."
Yuvi expresses his dissatisfaction and Sarab confronts Meher, "You're going to Jagga and Amrita's wedding anniversary? Why?" She replies, "You know very well." Sarab thinks, "She was giving the same brother money yesterday." Sarab says, "Yesterday..." and Meher asks, "Do you have anything important to say?" Param listens, and Sarab asks Meher to fix his brooch. Meher fixes it, and Param leaves for school.
Sarab meets with the officers, and his PA proves that the tax for the amount has already been paid; it was a gift to him. The officer tells Sarab, "You can leave now." Sarab pleads, "Please don't interrogate Meher." The officer reveals, "Meher came here yesterday. She has already been interrogated. She was thinking we were joking. She isn't cooperative at all. I would like to meet her again." Sarab asserts, "All my books are clear. You can call me again."
Meher checks some files, and Param informs her, "Mama, see who is here. Jagga uncle." Meher conveys her wishes for the anniversary and explains, "I am sorry, I am not coming." Jagga shares his concerns about Bitu and Jitu's love, and Meher agrees, "That's all she does." Jagga warns her about the blank signed cheque, and Meher admits, "It got me into trouble. Income tax officers took me for interrogation." She proceeds to tell him everything.
