He expresses his inability to give Karan to anyone else, admiring Meher even more for her strength. He admits that he feels suffocated when she's not around.
Sarab holds Meher's hand, and she recalls how she used to fear sleeping alone as a child but found comfort when sleeping with her dad. She reassures Sarab that as long as he's with her, she fears nothing. Sarab hugs her and then Param.
Leaving the room, Sarab and Meher reminisce about their moments in the house and with Param. Param measures his height on the wall, a tradition they used to follow.
Sarab acknowledges the loyalty of their servants and hopes they extend the same respect to everyone. Tarkash hands Sarab his resignation, pledging his loyalty to him.

Sarab reiterates his commitment to their decision. Kulwant pleads with Param to come with her, but he chooses to stay with Sarab and Meher. They emphasize that they've severed ties with their family name.
Meanwhile, Manav expresses concern about where they'll go and confronts Aditi for her actions.
Kulwant tries to dissuade Meher, emphasizing the importance of wealth, but Meher asserts that their family and love are their true riches.
Later, Param grows tired while walking and asks when they'll start the game and build their new nest, leaving Sarab and Meher worried.
