Harleen visits Sarab, expressing concern about Seema's well-being. Meher inquires about Seema's condition, to which Harleen responds that she's deeply upset due to recent events.
Worried about the attack on Sarab, Harleen seeks reassurance from Meher, who assures her that they will uncover the truth soon.
Sarab, trying to comfort Harleen, advises her not to worry. Harleen mentions having only one brother and expresses her urgency for the police to expedite the investigation to identify the culprit.
Meanwhile, Kulwant, Bitu, and Rana arrive at the hospital. Kulwant suggests performing a dramatic act to evoke sympathy from Sarab, proposing that they mention their wives' pregnancies as a ploy to soften Sarab's heart.
As Kulwant enters the room, she offers well-wishes, but her shock intensifies upon seeing the police present. Sarab intervenes, revealing that their visit isn't related to the recent attack but rather concerns their past actions.
Sarab accuses Kulwant, Bitu, and Rana of being responsible for Manav's innocent death and orders their arrest.
Kulwant protests, claiming innocence and appealing to Sarab's emotions by mentioning their impending fatherhood.
However, Sarab remains resolute, asserting that maternal bonds do not justify criminal actions.
He insists that they face the consequences for their deeds, prompting Meher to intervene and call for the inspector's assistance. Sarab maintains that motherhood does not absolve them of guilt and asserts that they must be held accountable for their actions.
Kulwant questions the evidence against her, but Sarab asserts that the police will find proof, making her a suspect who belongs in jail. Undeterred, Kulwant challenges them to shoot her, with Bitu and Rana joining in the dramatic display.
Meher intervenes, fed up with the theatrics. Kulwant tries to evoke sympathy by mentioning Param and Karan, but Sarab maintains that their actions will make their children proud. Kulwant coughs, prompting Meher to take her aside, urging her to stop the charade, especially considering Sarab's health.
Kulwant counters, accusing Meher of orchestrating drama and insisting that Manav is alive, questioning the validity of the murder accusation. Meher condemns Kulwant for attempted murder, but Kulwant defends her actions, claiming they were necessary for Meher's current status.
The police then proceed to arrest Kulwant, Bitu, and Rana, with Kulwant expressing confidence that Manav will intervene and secure her release.
In another setting, Manav reminisces about Surya, recalling his request to keep his mother unaware of his survival. Aditi joins him, grieving her father's death and questioning his visit to the hospital.
Manav consoles her and offers her the saree given by Seema, who enters and encourages Aditi to observe Karwa Chauth for her son's sake, reaffirming their familial bond.
At the police station, the inspector instructs Kulwant to leave her belongings, and a fellow detainee questions her about her predicament. Kulwant tries to contact Vikram through the inspector but is dismayed to learn that Manav's phone is unreachable.
Meanwhile, Seema and Aditi video call Meher and Sarab, inquiring about the investigation into Sarab's attack. Sarab expresses condolences for Surya's death, though Meher questions his praise given the circumstances.
Sarab confides in Meher about the need to keep the truth hidden to protect various relationships, including his sister Guddi's, and urges Meher to visit Seema and Aditi.
In a separate conversation facilitated by Param, Kulwant communicates with Manav, who asks if she's in jail, to which she confirms, warning that she could expose his true identity with a DNA test if she speaks out.
