Raburu's Grateful Exit
Willis Raburu recently made a tough decision to exit Citizen TV, a popular television station. He expressed his gratitude towards the network, stating that they had been gracious to him throughout his tenure. While describing his transition as amazing, he confirmed that he had tendered his resignation.
When asked about his plans for the future, Willis Raburu mentioned that he intended to take a break and rest. He wanted to step back and utilize the knowledge he had gained over the years, as well as continue pursuing his Masters degree. "I'm grateful to everyone who has walked with me in all these 13 years I have been in the media, doing several videos." Raburu continued to say that the media has exposed him to many great things in his 13 years, which has enabled him to do it all. "Im grateful for the opportunity to come out and do what it is that I love. I have learnt a lot. I have experienced a lot and it has allowed me to grow in my mind and my appreciation of people and my appreciation of things and even different attitudes.
Expressing appreciation for those who had supported him during his 13 years in the media industry, Raburu acknowledged the impact it had on his life. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage in the work he loved, emphasizing that it had provided him with extensive learning experiences. From starting as an intern in 2010 at Royal Media to conducting various interviews and covering significant events like Kenya's entry into the war in Somalia, Raburu had gained diverse insights and grown both personally and professionally.
He also mentioned hosting "10 over 10," one of the biggest shows for youth, content creation, and entertainment, as a significant achievement in his career. Reflecting on his 13 years, Raburu described it as an undefined journey that would eventually lead to the creation of a book.
