Content creator Wanjiru Shiro, who is widely known for her popular videos, has dismissed rumors suggesting a romantic involvement with fellow comedian Crazy Kennar. Despite frequently portraying a married couple with Kennar in their skits, Shiro clarified that their relationship is purely professional.
During an interview with a local media outlet, Shiro firmly stated, "We maintain a clear separation between business and personal matters. There isn't much to it. We have never been romantically involved, which would be extremely odd."
Shiro acknowledged that rumors regarding her and Kennar's relationship have been circulating for some time. However, she emphasized that their connection has always been strictly platonic, dating back to their early acting days when they were around 18 or 19 years old.
"We began our acting journey at a young age, and as time went on, we each decided to explore other avenues," Shiro explained.
Shiro's denial of the rumors arrives at a challenging period for the comedy duo. In recent months, several group members have departed, and reports of internal disagreements have surfaced. Shiro clarified that the group remains intact but is "evolving" as they mature.
"We are still united, but we are undergoing a process of growth," Shiro asserted. "Each one of us is developing individually and pursuing our own endeavors."
Shiro's rejection of the rumors surrounding her and Kennar's relationship may help alleviate some of the speculation concerning the future of the comedy duo. However, it is evident that the group is confronting difficulties as they navigate the changes and transformations within the industry.
